Woah! we are seriously excited to announce our Three Hares Folk Camp tutors for 2026.
Three of our tutors were with us last year, and we are pleased to say they're returning to Three Hares Folk Camp this summer: Bradon Smith (fiddle), Dominic Henderson (uilleann pipes, flute, whistles), and Kit Hawes (guitar). They will be joined by four incredible guests tutors.
Three extraordinary vocalists rooted in the American, English and Irish traditions will teach vocal technique and song: Nuala Honan, Nick Hart and Ríoghnach Connolly.
Nuala’s 20-something year career spans countries and genres. Her second studio album ‘Doubt & Reckoning’ was a BBC 6Music Album of the Day and she has toured with *This Is The Kit* and *Honeyfeet*.
Nick Hart is a singer and multi instrumentalist whose work within the English ballad tradition has seen him acclaimed as “probably the finest interpreter of traditional English folk songs this generation has produced.”
Ríoghnach Connolly is a professional vocalist, flautist, lyricist, workshop facilitator, and musical activist, and an RTÉ and BBC Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year. She has toured internationally with *The Breath*, *HoneyFeet,* *Band of Burns* and *Afro Celt Sound System*.
Kai Carter will expand our instrument workshops into the American tradition, teaching Old Time tunes on banjo and guitar. Kai is well-known on the Old Time session scene in Bristol and a founding member of *Kai Carter's Old Time Trio* whose debut album came out in 2026.
