Big news……..

Winford Community Shop & Post Office reopens for business Friday 10th July!!

With the help of so many people including committee members and wonderful volunteers we have completed the work in the scheduled timeframe.

Please drop in and see us, we can’t wait to say hello to you all!

A reminder that Winford Community Shop and Post Office is now closed for refurbishment.

We will reopen on Friday 10th July.

Please see below details of the pop up shop we are running in the Village Hall.

Important information from your Community Shop and Post Office

As many of you will know, our shop and post office will be undergoing some building work and because of this, it has to close from 25th June until 10th July. (Subject to everything going to plan.)

For that time, we will be situated in the Village Hall providing you with daily papers, bread and milk from 9am to 11am every morning. Unfortunately, we will be unable to operate the post office but we will have some stamps. If there is anything you would like us to stock during this period, please let the shop know in advance, we will do our best to oblige.

If anyone can help, we need the use of a transit sized van for a few hours on 25th and 26th June to move current stock to a storage unit in the village and similarly to take it back ten days later. Please contact the shop on 01275 472222. We have plenty of volunteers ready to load up but lack transport and a driver.

When we reopen, we look forward to welcoming you all back and if you are not already a customer, please come in, we may surprise you with the variety of services we offer. You may even decide to volunteer behind the counter. We look forward to seeing you.

Please be aware that during our closure from 25th June to 10th July there will be no Local Collect or Amazon collections or online/shopping returns. All Post Office services have to be suspended during this period.
