Michelle and Paul are looking for a cleaner for their house.
It's not the easiest house to clean as it's hectic with lots of comings and goings as well as 3 cats, 1 Dog and teenage/adult children.

We are looking for someone that can cope with the above and come once a week for 3 hours. Obviously they would need to be fully Insured. All cleaning products are provided by us.

The house is a large 4 bedroom house but only 1-2 Bedrooms would need to be cleaned at a time. There are 2 upstairs bathrooms as well as a downstairs toilet, Kitchen and living areas as well as hallways and landing. Should ideally only take around 3 hours.

We are really sorry but we are unable to attend Bridge Market at the moment, We have had issues with our van as it caught alight in our yard next week and sadly the Insurance company are taking their time to sort it out for us, leaving us in complete limbo as we are now a van down. (Wouldn't recommend the company anymore either!!)

On a good note we had a delivery of Suma products yesterday and actually have a few new items in stock to try, we have taken off some of the products that weren't proving very popular. Please do let us know if there's something you would like to see us sell.

We're looking for a reliable and confident driver to join our friendly fruit and vegetable wholesale business based near Wingham, Kent.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving at night. You'll work while the roads are quiet, finish in the early hours, get some sleep, and still have most of your day free for family, hobbies or appointments.

📍 Location - Near Wingham, Kent

🕒 Working Hours
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
11:00pm – 3:00am
Drive our 3.5-tonne extra-long wheelbase panel van to New Covent Garden Market in London.
Collect fresh produce and return to our depot.

Friday
11:00am – 5:00pm
Local multi-drop deliveries to our customers.

Confident driving a 3.5-tonne extra-long wheelbase panel van

Morning everyone,

Thank you for all the support with our new website, there were a few teething issues with it but on the whole it seemed to run quite smoothly and we have had a lot of positive feedback from the customer side, so we are really pleased. We know it's a lot more advanced than the previous site and we are all getting used to the new features. I know a lot of you made use of the swaps feature and that was absolutely brilliant. If anyone is having issues with it please do let us know, we actually have a lovely man on board who is supporting us and responds really quickly to issues, he just asks the more info you give him the better as that way he can find a fix quickly.

I know the weather has been causing a few issues with the produce quality over the last few weeks, We are really sorry about this and we have swapped a lot of boxes with Poly boxes. I know it's not an idea solution and these boxes are controversial, but we buy in Broccoli that comes in these boxes and rather than throwing them away, which is not environmentally friendly we have chosen to re use them again and again. They are perfect for keeping the produce fresh and we have accumulated a lot of them over the years. If you are happy to have your produce in one of these boxes please do let us know. Also if you have any ideas for alternatives again let us know. We just want your produce to arrive as fresh as possible. All boxes are made up and put in our chiller before they go in the van, but they can be in our van for longer than we'd like and sadly we don't have the funds for a chiller van at the moment.

You are also welcome to leave a cooler box outside your property and our drivers are more than happy to decant your products into this.

I can finally announce that our new website is now up and running!!!

All existing customers can now log on.

Go to eastkentgrowers.co.uk or click the link below.

Just enter your email address and click on Forgot password.
You will then be sent a log on link to your email address (Do check your spam folder)

Once you have logged on please check that all your details are correct and then you can start ordering next week.

As usual any questions please do get in touch.

**Edit: I am aware that some customers are struggling to log on to the new website, those more technical than me will probably be able to explain it better but it's usually an issue with the Cache and cookies on your devices. basically your device is struggling to update the new information and is trying to use the old information. Please do let us know if you are struggling to log in and we will try and help solve this for you. Paul is the best one with knowledge on this so please email him at [email protected]

Really sorry everyone but Ooooby have informed us that as soon as they've sent the information over to our new website on the Growing Good Platform you will no longer be able to order from there so we've had to make the decision to close this week's orders this evening. Ooooby will have a forwarding to our new website though.

I am currently working on getting this week's Veg box contents uploaded and we will close the orders at 9pm tonight. You can still email additions across to me until Thursday morning although Bread needs to be ordered by Wednesday 12pm.

Again I am really sorry everyone but I promise our new website will be worth it!! 🤞🤞🤞

I am so sorry that this all seems last minute and we are all working really hard on this.
