Our maize crop is coming off the fields, marking the end of another growing season. Once the maize is harvested, we get straight on with preparing the ground for the next stage — establishing a healthy grass crop 🌱

One crop comes off, and the groundwork begins for the next 🚜 homegrown forage for our cows this winter 🐄🥛

🥛🐄 Important update regarding online milk orders 🐄🥛

Due to family holidays and our increasing summer temperatures, we will not be sending out any online orders from 18th August to the 20th September. Therefore our last order date will be Sunday 16th August at 5pm. Orders will be posted Monday 17th August for delivery on Tuesday 18th August.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused so wanted to give all our online customers plenty of warning ‼️ 🥛🐄

Our onsite vending machines in Winslow, Buckinghamshire, remain open 7 days a week throughout this period 🥛🥛🙌🏻🙌🏻

It’s been a busy week on the farm and another surprise visitor making an appearance 🤩👀

1. A group of our heifers were brought in ready for calving 🐄🥰
2. More grass cut to feed our cows 🌱🐄
3. Lots of grass in the clamp ready for sheeting 🌱🌱
4. The forager harvesting our wholecrop to feed the cows this winter 🌾
5. Spreading slurry once the grass had been cut, adding nutrients into the soil 🐄💩
6. Another feathered friend making our farm their home 🦉😍
