I might have forgotten someone but here’s a list of stalls at the mini market here tomorrow

Follow the flag and Bramblebee banners
£10 to get in to pick as many pears as you want
That’s £10 per car not person
Runs 10-4 and is supposed to be dry
Wear good foot wear as it’s a farm
Bring a picnic blanket and stay a while
Have a chat and relax there is a lot of Pears here I don’t think we will run out
Get to meet some other members of the farm team as well

Over my lifetime we have lost so many farms in the UK, as farmers have been forced to get big or get out.

Small family farms are like square pegs that don’t fit a round hole. The wonderful unique characteristics of the food they produce have no place in a system that seeks to standardise food into one size, one shape and a uniform colour.

Farmers have become slaves to a system that places no value in the farming behind our food. A system that relies on creating a false perception of provenance and diversity, to profit from food on its journey from farms to our plates.

Produce & Provide works to promote the square pegs - the farms that don’t fit the system, the farms that don’t want to fit the system. The farms that are still focussed on feeding people.

We want to raise awareness of the fact that these square pegs still exist and help you find the wonderful food they produce.
