Normally we wouldn't see cobnuts until the end of September, but like a lot of this year's arable crops, they've arrived early this year. Very early. We've now got fresh stock in the farm shop, straight from Joy Farm in Horsley — about as local as it gets.

Pop in and grab some while they're in season.

Tiny female ‘Marmalade Hoverfly’ hunting for the perfect place to lay her eggs – job done! Her larvae will soon be tucking into a ready supply of aphids. Harmless to us and great natural pest controllers, these pollinators are garden heroes.
