Today my food truck turns 3!

I can’t believe it’s already been three years since I got my food truck. What a fantastic journey it’s been — serving at festivals, birthday parties, weddings, breweries, corporate meetings... the list goes on!

Thank you all for trusting me to cater your special moments.

One of the unexpected bonuses? I’ve become a much better driver — even my reverse parking is improving!

If you have an event coming up, you can book me — I’d be happy to cater and help create more wonderful memories.

Goodbye 2024! Bring on 2025!

Dear TET family and friends,

Reflecting on our journey together in 2024. For our cafe community, there have been so many highs and lows, wonderful, happy times alongside increasing challenges. I’m so grateful to all of you who have shared this journey with me and for your unwavering support and simply for stopping by to enjoy our food and company.

I really love and appreciate all of you: each group, those who lead the open mic evenings, and each family, friendship group, or individual. You are core to who we are and why we continue to thrive

There have also been many wonderful moments in 2024. One of the highlights was receiving the BBC Berkshire "Make a Difference" Community Award. It's such an incredible honour. Another highlight was my Community festival. I'd dreamt of this for so long. Thanks to you all , It was great fun and a massive success. Next year, our festival will be held on June 28th, 2025.

I've also loved taking my food truck out to many festivals, breweries, and events, including weddings and private parties. I do get your bookings in now for next year!

Looking ahead, I’m excited for what 2025 will bring. Alongside the cafe, food truck, and wonderful community gatherings, I'm keen to continue to develop Tutu's Table ready meals business. Many of you regularly buy my lentil pouch and jar of spicy cooking sauce, but I want to expand the sale of these and other products to the wider UK market. If you know any sauce buyers or investors who'd be interested, let me know!

Thank you for making Tutu’s Ethiopian Table more than just a café. You’ve made it a family, a community, and a place where we share our joys and sorrows and celebrate life together.

I wish you a very happy New Year filled with love, laughter, and good Ethiopian food.
