๐Ÿฐ Congratulations to Sharon and Kingsley! ๐Ÿฐ

Yesterday we went to a mansion to cook for Sharon and Kingsley's pre-wedding dinner! ๐Ÿฅฐ

We brought our tailored menu with 2 soups, 8 snacks, 4 mains, 2 hot drinks and 2 desserts to make a mini night market in front of the mansion. Lots of foods and lots of Hong Kong vibes! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Pan-fried oysters, Curry Beef Flank Rice and Pineapple buns were the popular items! It felt funny hearing everyone saying they were too full already, while we were still pan-frying the dumplings for late night snack! ๐Ÿ˜†

We were very thankful to be chosen by Sharon and Kingsley, and to have the wonderful experiences to serve at Elmore Court! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ The rain at daytime cleared all the clouds above, it was perfect! Our most most most sincere wishes to Sharon & Kingsley's life ahead! May love and strength be with you always โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

โ˜•๏ธโ˜•๏ธโ˜•๏ธ Busy day at Maidenhead Coffee Festival! โ˜•๏ธโ˜•๏ธโ˜•๏ธ

Wow, all our foods were literally sold out quickly at Maidenhead Coffee Festival! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ We had to be creative to scramble our menu to feed everyone! ๐Ÿ˜† I hope that still tasted good ๐Ÿ˜† Our whole-hearted thank you all for the supports! โค๏ธ It's so busy today that we didn't even have the chance to walk around in the hall to try out the coffee! ๐Ÿ˜† But again, we met quite a few groups of Hongkongers, which feels good!

Every "delicious" and every smile from the customers were precious to us. We enjoyed the day a lot, especially with the warm, friendly and professional team who made this festival! Maidenhead Coffee Festival โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ˜‹ We have ็…Ž้‡€ไธ‰ๅฏถ (Fried Stuffed Assorted Veggies) today! ๐Ÿ˜‹ Aubergine and Chillies from the veggie stall next to us! ๐Ÿ˜‹

OK, I think this is typical us. ๐Ÿ˜† We will open at 10:30am, and at 9:30am, we decided to include Fried Stuffed Assorted Veggies to our menu today!

Because the aubergine ๐Ÿ† in the fruit and veggie stall right next to us on Maidenhead High Street, is just too beautiful! And we happen to have some more fish paste to make it! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

We once imagined a day with special menu, using only fresh ingredients from the stalls next to us. There are butcher stall, fish stall, fruit and veggie, small groceries, etc. ๐Ÿ˜† Maybe when we are more skilled in cooking we can do that. But today seems like a little tiny realisation of that! ๐Ÿ˜† (feeling good!)

It's fun and exciting to connect with local community in different ways!

Friday will be the Mid-autumn Day this year, when the moon is believed to be the biggest and fullest in lunar calendar. ๐ŸŒ•๐ŸŒ•๐ŸŒ• Red Bean Sweet Soup (้™ณ็šฎ็ด…่ฑ†ๆฒ™) is one of the most traditional Cantonese sweet soup, and this year we would like to bring it on our truck. ๐Ÿฅฃ๐Ÿฅฃ๐Ÿฅฃ

When we decided to make some Red Bean Sweet Soup for this week, we realised it is already written on our truck, when we decorated the truck more than 2 years ago. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฅน I believe this food has already been part of our soul. It's another evidence of how foods - even by its name only, has profound meanings to those who is looking for the taste of home.
