You were loved more than you will ever know and will be missed every day. Thank you for being the most wonderful friend to us all. Your kindness knew no bounds, in 11 years I don’t think anyone ever heard you growl. You loved your little people, and they loved you. Your ability to switch from being a working dog on the farm to a beloved pet always amazed us. You were loyal to the core, waiting patiently at the top of the drive if Tom ever left the farm. You would stay there no matter what until he was safely home. You were unbelievably gentle with the cows. I used to joke you were like babe the sheep pig, quietly having a conversation with them to ask them to move, never hurrying or worrying them. You were born here at Hollybeds and you will always be a part of this farm. You will be so missed, always there in the background, watching over every harvest, every TB test, everything! One in a million 🩷 we know so many of you loved seeing Todd when you visited, the farm certainly feels a bit quiet today without his gentle presence around 💔

Have you had your weetabix this morning 🌾?! Wheat harvest is in full swing at Hollybeds. The tractors and combines will be out in force over the next few weeks, so please remember, show them some kindness and respect. It’s the busiest time of year for most farmers and they have to get from A to B to put food on your table! As said, next time you’re stuck in traffic, just think, do I like b**r and bread 🍞🍺😘

☀️ WHAT A WEEK ☀️ thought we better do a little round up as things have been rather busy here at Hollybeds!! Keep reading for the best bit (🥳)

1. Our new gorgeous bottles have landed in the vending machines, have you grabbed yours yet? 😍

2. Tom Goodwin was busy working all the hours to get the barley combined 🌾

3. That golden hour always feels even more magic when the combine is out☀️

4. Fred Gower was kept busy getting the barley into the silos where it will be stored safely to feed over winter. What a crop compared to last year!!!

5. Tractors everywhere!! Thank goodness for air con ❄️

6. While Tom and Fred were busy on the barley, Rupert Woodley was down on Upton Ham mowing hay. And for the first time ever, we cut the entire lot in one go!!! Talk about making hay while the sun shines

7. Loads of hay coming in and filling the barns, the best feeling after last year being so tough!!

8. 9. 10. 11. We held our annual Hollybeds team bbq and rounders match, always great fun and competitive as ever!!

12. Ice cream has been essential and consumed in vast quantities!!

13. To top it all off… we had our TB test this week… and we passed this morning 🥳 thanks to Ollie from and the whole Hollybeds team for making it a super smooth operation and un stressful for the cows in this heat 🐮 🩷

☀️ 🌾 Final checks on the old girl before combining 2026 starts this afternoon 🌾 ☀️thankfully this year is looking much much healthier than last year

☀️ H E A T W A V E ☀️ we’ve got you!! We are fully stocked with lots of gorgeous local goodies to get you through the next few days 🥵

In the fridge …
🍓 beautiful fresh strawberries grown and picked just 2 miles away at Clive’s fruit farm
🧃 refreshing, locally made small bottles of juice, perfect for a pick me up
🐮 as always, the freshest milk and shakes!! Don’t forget milk is actually MORE hydrating than water!! What a great excuse 😋

In the freezer ❄️
🍔 our delicious handmade burgers, made with our beautiful beef. so so easy to defrost and cook for a yummy dinner on a hot night (we do ours in the air fryer and don’t even bother to fully defrost them!) dinner in minutes for the whole family
🥩 a great selection of our beautiful steaks, what could be nicer with a simple salad on a hot night!!
🍦 churchfields delicious ice cream, made with our gorgeous milk!

Our poor cows are not enjoying this heat but they are staying cool in their barns with plenty of huge fans around, water throughs and the team have even set up a sprinkler system so they can have shower if they fancy it 💦 🥰 🐄
