I'm really excited to introduce one of our most special Italian collections this Christmas — FIASCONARO, a family-run Sicilian producer with a wonderful story dating back to 1953.

From a small pastry shop in the medieval town of Castelbuono, in the mountains of Sicily, the Fiasconaro family has created something truly extraordinary.

They took one of Italy's greatest Christmas traditions, panettone, and gave it a beautiful Sicilian twist.

An Italian after-dinner tradition you might not have tried! 🍋🇮🇹

Crastan Effervescente has been popular in Italy for over 100 years — a familiar jar in many Italian cupboards, traditionally brought out after a generous meal.

These lemon-flavoured granules are sold as a digestive, commonly enjoyed after eating when you’re feeling full or heavy. Made with Sicilian lemon juice, they turn water into a refreshing, fizzy drink.

How do you use it? 🥄
Add two teaspoons to half a glass of water, watch it bubble and drink while it’s still fizzing!

The fizz comes from bicarbonate reacting with the acids in the granules. It’s gluten-free and contains no added colourings, too.

If you grew up with it, this might bring back memories. If you’ve never tried it, come and discover another little Italian tradition at the deli!

We're pleased to announce that our alcohol licence has landed, along with a very lovely range of w**es, beers and ciders

We're starting with a selection of unique Italian w**es, hand-picked by our good friend Gianluca over at Rizzo W**e Club in Worcester

There's a bottle for every taste and budget, so be sure to have a look next time you're in the deli (🤫 we'll also be holding free w**e tasting afternoons very soon, so you can try before you buy 🍷)

We'll be adding to this collection over the next few weeks, including local and English w**es from the Malvern Hills and beyond.
