We’re absolutely blown away! To even be in the line up with these beers is incredible!!! Thanks so much to the Kings Head Docklow team for asking us to be involved. Keep an eye out for the IPA in Worcester in the coming weeks.

Well we did manage to shift nearly all of the beer before we had to take it off which is great news!

Before we sold off the remainder of the beer we measured the volume of each firkin Sunday night to see which one had sold the best over the weekend! And we had a close 1st and 2nd place! Here are the results below!

1. 🥇 Traditional IPA - Grinnbull 5.3%
2. Bitter Brummie – Birmingham Brewing Co 4.1%
3. Tribute – St Austell 4.2%
4. Silent Night – Ludlow D-Railed 4.5%
5. Phoenix Porter – Hop Shed 5.2%
6. Honey Trap – Hop Shed 3.9%
7. Ingot Golden Ale – Attic Brewery 4.0%
8. Our House – Castle Rock 3.4%
9. Allsopp’s Best Bitter 3.8%
10. Canyon – Wye Valley 4.8%

All of the beers were fantastic this year and there was only approx 15 pints between first and last!

What a crazy weekend!

Another amazing year at Worcester Beer, Cider & Perry Festival, both beers sold even faster than they did last year! Thanks so much to everyone who supported this incredible event and to everyone who had a pint or two of ours!

Kings Head Docklow have the Traditional IPA on at their beer festival and apparently it’s leading the running there as well! What’s going on?!!!

And to cap it all off the White IPA is currently on at Cocky Anchor, Worcester if you fancy a quiet pint to get over all of the madness. I know I need one.

Absolutely psyched to have been asked to be on at the Kings Head Docklow beer festival! Two beer festivals in one week, that’s never happened before! If you’re out that way it sounds incredible, especially the smoked bbq. Massive thanks to these guys.

Here’s one we’re really excited to have on this weekend from Grinnbull Brewing! They only produce 7 firkin per brew so we feel super privileged to be able to get 1 of 7 on for this weekends beer festival!

🍺 Help Name Our Plum Dark Ale! 🍺

Worcester Beer, Cider & Perry Festival and Grinnbull Brewing have teamed up to create a brand-new 7.0% Plum Dark Ale, brewed especially for this year's festival and we need your help to give it the perfect name!

Brewed with plenty of locally grown Worcestershire plums, this rich, warming dark ale is bursting with flavours of treacle, molasses, ripe plum and a hint of dark chocolate, finishing with a smooth, balanced bitterness.

Now it's your chance to leave your mark on the festival.

How to enter:
✅ Check out our Website at https://festival.worcester.camra.org.uk/competition/ to get the full beer descriptions.
✅ Email your name to [email protected]
✅ Tell us the inspiration behind your name (optional, but we'd love to hear it!).
✅ Entries close on 19th of July.

The winning name will be featured on the festival beer at Worcester Beer Festival, and The winners will receive two tickets for any festival session along with a couple of pints to enjoy, plus most importantly – the bragging rights of naming an official festival beer!

We're looking for something memorable that celebrates Worcestershire, its famous plums, local heritage, or simply the character of this delicious dark ale.

Good luck—we can't wait to see your ideas!
