Worcester Rowing Club Worcester's only open rowing club catering to athletes of any ability age 13+ In addition to club squads our facilities are available for event hire.

Set on the picturesque Severn River in the heart of Worcester, Worcester Rowing Club has facilities to suit anyone wanting to row; from complete beginners through to those aspiring to compete at the highest level. We have a strong junior branch of the club catering to athletes generally between the ages of 13 and 18. Our adult branch offers competitive opportunities for novice, intermediate, senio

r and master's athletes, as well as the chance to row socially. WRC itself holds several regattas and events through the year, which are advertised through this page, and the public are always welcome to join us for. Want to know more? WRC is always open to new members, and we run introductory programmes at specific times of year for anyone interested in having a go at rowing. A huge well done to every Worcester crew who raced across the two-day regatta. Some brilliant racing, plenty of wins and lots to be proud of!💪🚣‍♀️🚣‍♂️

A massive thank you to Stourport Boat Club for putting on such a fantastic 150th Anniversary Regatta. Two great days of racing and a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish.

🏆 Henley Masters Regatta Winners 🏆

A FANTASTIC win from Jo Motte and Clare Crozier. They have earned a well-deserved victory against strong competition💪

Our Masters squad put together an excellent set of performances this year, with crews progressing through all the rounds!

✨Highlights✨

• W MasC 4x were neck and neck with Fulham. This crew fought all the way in the quarter-finals.

• Our Op MasF 4+ and Op MasG 4x all reaching the semi-finals after some impressive racing.

• Op MasD 1x producing a determined performance in a competitive heat.

• Finals for our W MasE 2-… a superb race.

• And. To top it all off. Our W MasD 2- were crowned Henley Masters Regatta Champions, powering to a dominant 5-length victory in the final! 🏆

A fantastic achievement all. The whole club is incredibly proud.

Henley Royal Regatta – WC4x QUALIFIED! 🚣‍♀️

What a day for our women’s quad!

With racing postponed until 7:45pm due to the intense heat, the crew after their pre paddle escaped for a bit of AC while waiting for their moment…They stayed patient, kept their focus, and were ready to deliver when it counted.🚀💥

A superb race from start to finish saw them secure qualification, and we couldn’t be prouder of the determination, resilience, and professionalism they showed throughout a long, hot day🎊

CONGRATULATIONS to the crew and team that helped make this happen—we can’t wait to see you back on the water for the next round! 💙🚣‍♀️

The Senior Men’s Coxed Four delivered a determined performance in the Britannia Challenge Cup Qualifiers at Henley Royal Regatta 2026🍾🌸

With racing rescheduled from the heat of the afternoon to an 8pm start, the crew made the most of the cooler conditions, producing a strong, composed row down the course. They fought hard from start to finish, showing excellent rhythm, commitment, and resilience against a highly competitive field.💪🚀

In the end, they narrowly missed out on qualification by just five seconds. While the result wasn’t quite enough to secure a place in the regatta, it was a performance the crew can be proud of and a testament to the work they’ve put in throughout the season.

Well done to this crew for representing Worcester Rowing Club with determination and pride on one of rowing’s biggest stages.💪
