Our WSK Food donation diary for JUNE 2026 is now OPEN.

If you are able to donate with either help or cash please let us know! Without your kind donations and valuable time we wouldn’t be able to provide this needed and appreciated service. Your continued support and donations are greatly appreciated!! ☺️

We cater for various tastes and diets including vegetarian.

Each evening we provide 60 + hot meals with a dessert and a take away lunch packs for the following day.

Our hot meal service is from 6 to 630pm Monday to Thursday from our current base at Worcester Salvation Army, The Trinity, Worcester. WR1 2PN. https://maps.app.goo.gl/c1h8asxHiAt6SdX4A?g_st=ic

Are you a keen cook or professional caterer with a few hours to spend each week or month? Why not come in and whip up something delicious in our fully equipped on site kitchen.

Puddings currently going down a treat are fruit crumbles, apple pie, rice pudding, trifle.

We are really struggling with lunch pack donations at the moment! Ideally they will
Include…

- a bagged and labelled
sandwich or roll
- crisps/savoury snack
- chocolate/biscuit bar

These are given alongside hot meals to tide the guys over until their next hot meal.

Sandwiches can be any flavour on any bread,most commonly cheese OR ham, for example 30 cheese and 30 ham but other varieties are also welcome!

Lunch packs need to be delivered, ready to serve before 6pm, so please deliver prior, we are on site from 3pm.

🐣 Easter is just around the corner — and we want to make it a little sweeter for everyone who joins us! 🍫

Our next Eat In Monday falls on Easter Monday (6th April), and we'd love to treat our guests to an Easter egg as a special touch. Eat In Mondays are one of our favourite events where everyone sits down together and enjoys a lovely 2-course meal. It's always a really special evening, and this one is set to be even more so!

If you'd like to help make it happen, donations of chocolate Easter eggs are very welcome. You can drop them off at our home at the Salvation Army Church on The Trinity, Worcester, between 2.30pm and 7.30pm, Monday to Thursday.

Half term doesn’t alter our normal numbers of 55-60 people turning up in need of a good home cooked meal and more… what does happen is we always have additional helpers.. this week Henry and Rupert helped Grandad Peter Morgan ( long standing donator) to make delicious lunch packs for all to enjoy.. and Reign , Raven and Rumi helping Nanny Mand’s to make fresh fruit salad as a healthier option for those who want one.. THANK YOu little people who all donated their time this week.. an amazing job all of you.. ❤️❤️

This time last year, our Worcester Street Kitchen faced closure, prompting us to issue a rallying cry. Your response was overwhelming, filled with kindness, support, time, food, and financial backing. Together, you've cooked, baked, served, prepared lunch packs, washed dishes, donated, fundraised, collected surplus food from local businesses, provided us with a home, shared our story, boosted our profile, registered us as a charity, designed a new logo, and built a new website. Your efforts have been phenomenal, and we're deeply grateful to each and every one of you. With your help, we've provided over 12,400 home-cooked meals with desserts and hot drinks, along with 12,400 sandwich lunch packs for the following day. This achievement is a testament to our incredible supporters. We're thankful for every form of support you provide, and we look forward to a fantastic 2026, growing and improving together.

Yesterday this occured .. We decided after a lot of thought to open for Christmas lunch.. Pressies for all.. array of festive drinks.. 0% alcohol of course.. Lovingly cooked Turkey dinner and all the trimmings.. chrimbo pudding.. tea/ coffee and Christmas cake.. I had thought that if only two people turned up to be welcomed and fed than it would be worth it.. But I’m happy to say 30 of our friends decided to join us for a meal and it was fantastic.. Plus one dog and 4 takeaways.. Thank you to all involved.. you were and are amazing .. Kindness is free and there’s always an abundance of it at WSK.. enjoy the rest of Christmas all…❤️❤️
