Marrows are in!

Fresh, locally grown and wonderfully versatile, our marrows are a fantastic seasonal addition to your kitchen. 🥒

🍽️ How to cook marrows

Marrows have a mild, delicate flavour and can be cooked in plenty of ways:

• Roasted: Cut into chunks, remove the seeds, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper and your favourite herbs. Roast at 200°C (180°C fan) for around 25–35 minutes, until tender and lightly golden.

• Stuffed: Halve the marrow lengthways and scoop out the seeds. Fill with a mixture of minced meat, vegetables, herbs, breadcrumbs or cheese, then bake until tender and bubbling.

• Stewed: Cut into chunks and gently cook with onions, tomatoes, garlic and herbs for a comforting seasonal dish.

• Marrow soup: Cook with onion, potato and vegetable stock, then blend until smooth. A simple, warming way to enjoy this seasonal favourite.

They make a great addition to a balanced diet and are particularly delicious when enjoyed fresh and in season.
