Kiril’s History
Kiril Mischeff was founded in 1935, as a UK agent for fresh fruit and representative for fruit pulp and tomato producers in Bulgaria.
Robin Mischeff, son of Kiril Mischeff, was appointed Managing Director in 1967. From 1969 he expanded the business by acquiring other food companies, developing trading with other countries, and establishing export, shipping and forwarding, package holiday and warehouse companies.
In 2005, Robin Mischeff enabled a management team headed by Dimiter Mirchev to acquire the trading companies and subsequently the group has grown organically through worldwide trading and investments in UK fruit processing operations and a high-care vegetable processing company in Lincolnshire.
The business operates from its head office building in Worksop and in Dorton.
