Sussex Chilli Farm We are community project growing chillies and producing jams, sauces and oils. A Sustainable Sussex Project working with various needs groups.

Sussex Chilli Farm, a Sustainable Sussex project began in January 2015 with 650 chilli seedlings being grown by volunteers who find access to the workplace difficult, including people with learning disabilities, autism, people with health problems and long term unemployed. Based at Worthing Leisure Centre, our first grow is housed in 3 small poly tunnels and 2 greenhouses. We have been selling pla

nts and pods and will be producing a range of chilli jams, sauces and oils soon! We are pesticide free and aim for our growing to be as sustainable as possible, planning large scale rainwater harvesting and using other off-grid and low impact technologies.
