This folks is our very last pin of Boffle, leaving the brewery and on its way to the CAMRA Worthing Beer and Cider festival

If you haven’t managed to try this beer yet, I can only recommend you to get yourself to Worthing this weekend and enjoy it while it last! 🍻

New Collab Out!

Our latest collab with The Cat Asylum Brewing Co and Kerr's is now out!
The 5.9% ABV beer is a London Double Stout brewed to a 1930's London recipe, using generous quantities of British landrace Chevallier barley along with malted oats and Ragus no. 3 invert sugar.

With flavours of coffee and dark chocolate, the beer is available on cask and will hopefully land in a pub near you πŸ˜‰πŸ»

STINGO

As our meet the brewer event next week in London is approaching, we wrote a blog post to talk about Stingo and what a beautiful day we had with Jonny (Mills Brewing), almost a year ago.

Come and have a chat with us on Wednesday the 6th of August, and discover those beautiful beers on cask at The Hand & Marigold

New collab out!

We've teamed up with our good friends at Otherworld Brewing for a new collab inspired by an 1880's recipe from Kemp Town brewery.
This brewery is very close to our heart as they used to have a lot of pubs in Worthing.

The beer itself is an historic pale ale, malty, hoppy, and bittersweet with a hint of marmalade. We've used Chevalier malt which provides a big malt backbone, and massive quantities of British & European Hops, typical of the time. The addition of traditional Invert No.2 sugar adds hints of molasses and lightens the finish.

Available in the South East now via Superba Wines, all details next week in our trade mailer

This is what happen when you bring people who are passionate about old beer recipe together.
A unique collaboration with Cat Asylum Brewing Co. for a very unique beer, combining two old Fullers recipe, one from 1890 and one from 1910.
The result... an Oatmeal Brown Stout with Opus hops at 5.6% ABV

And a massive thanks to Kerrs Beer for making this happen

Remember last summer when we went to Gloucestershire to brew a collab with our good friends Mills Brewing?
Well, not to be a tease but we've just sent a few pins their way to be filled up with the beer 😎

A few more months to wait before trying this one out though. Our 'Stingo' should be released this Autumn... When we're sure it's ready 😊

Back by popular demand is our collaboration with Sunken Knave - 1950s Burton Ruby Mild. This velvety mild is based on an old Bass recipe from the 1950s and is smooth, malty and full of flavour.

Persevere!

On Pellicle today, have a read to the excellent article by David Jesudason about the infamous Persevere Pub in Leith, and you might see some interesting stories from our very own Henry Kirk 🍻

When I walk into a near-empty Persevere on a drizzly Leith weekday, its vastness swallows me up like a whale. Moments later, when I gingerly take my pint of Newbarns Pale Ale to the table and sit in one of the half-boothed banquettes, a feeling of tranquility comes over me. My initial fear of being

We were very proud to be able to pour our own Boffle alongside some of our collabs with Simple Things Fermentations and The Heritage Brewing Company

A massive thanks to Jim for inviting us and letting us talk about old ales with the fantastic Al at The Heritage Brewing Company

See you next year!
