Right… quick update 👇

After being completely messed around by buyers, we are now looking at reopening the shop.

This will now be fully back under my ownership, and we will build this properly as a team.

BUT… I need the right person to make it happen.

We are looking for a strong, reliable manager who can take full control of the shop. This includes running day to day operations and handling social media.

This is a real opportunity for someone who knows what they are doing and wants to be part of building something solid.

Good rates of pay on offer 💰
Plus potential profit share for the right person

You MUST have previous catering experience and be confident running things without being micromanaged.

Hey Spud Fam,

I wanted to give everyone a quick update.

As many of you know, Grant lives near Guildford. The daily travel was around three hours of driving for him, so he has made the decision to step away from KingSpud.

This means I, Jordan, have ended up with the shop again. Unfortunately I simply do not have the time or want to run it because of my other business, which needs my full attention.

About six weeks ago I listed the shop for sale and we agreed a deal with a local business. Sadly they pulled out at the last minute, which has left the shop empty again.

I am now looking for either someone to purchase the equipment and take over the lease, or a competent and experienced manager who can run every aspect of the business. I need someone who is capable of taking full responsibility for the day to day operation.

I am looking for £8,000 for everything with a quick sale. For the right person I would also consider a deposit with a payment plan.

If you are seriously interested in taking this on or managing the business, please get in touch. Experience and references will be required for anyone interested in the management role.

WE HAVEN’T CLOSED DOWN! 👋🥔

Just a little update to clear up any confusion…
King Spud has not closed down.

We will reopen in a few weeks, December was CRAZY busy, January was quiet so having a short break 👍🏻

Today was our first day back open after nearly two weeks.
We’re grateful to everyone who did come by ❤️

It was a quieter day than we hoped, but we completely understand, times are tough for everyone right now.

Tomorrow’s a new day, and we’ll see how things go.
If it continues to be very quiet, we may need to pause again for a few weeks until things are a bit better all round.

Thank you to everyone who supports us, shares our posts, or pops in when they can, it really does mean a lot 🙏
