A bit of bag in box filling this Morning Stori Bala collecting, they supply Pubs and shops all over Nirth Wales, thank you to them. A few going to Stockport Tomorrow too, Petersgate Tap and the Camra Stickport beer festival.
I'm heading into a very busy fortnight and I haven't cut a blade of grass in any of the orchards yet so I extracted the Maschio flail mower from its oil soaked hibernation, regreased and fired up - all the hammers are swinging free so this evening I hit the nursary orchard and one row below the house. Even though I hacked the trees back hard last Winter there isn't much room between them now and my early on glee at seeing apples has been somewhat tempered tonight. There won't be many. I'm writing this in the tractor cab now and tonights job in half an hour is labelling up bottles after filling that ran out on the day.
A very interesting thing I'd like to state, I'm pretty happy with my bottled Triple D medium generally, but the batch I've just started now is in my view the best ever - Still £3.50 a bottle at the farm.
