Official statement...
Sadly it has come to my attention that some people are recycling old new stories about my past, some of these posts are over 8 years old.
I am the first to admit that they are absolutely disgusting and from the articles written the person mentioned is awful.
However, there are ALWAYS two sides to every story and whilst a lot that is written is true, not all of it is.
I have tried to stay quiet as to not air my medical past to the whole world of the internet and keyword warriors but some of the comments and phone calls are becoming so bad that I feel I have no choice but to comment and if they do continue contact the police.
In 2016 I was suffering from severe depression., anti depressants didn't work, neither did seeing a councillor and every day hurt more than being alive. When researching su***de the common theme was how hard it was for people left behind "why did he do it" "is there anything more that we could of done".
Those who know me know that my family means everything and despite the pain I was in I wanted nothing but to protect them from this hurt.
When you are in this dark place it's fair to say you are not thinking correctly..... So yes I did tell my while family I had terminal cancer as it to give them a reason as to why I commited su***de. It was wrong and I regret every day.
I WILL DENY TO MY DYING DAY THAT I STOLE £2000 TO DO THIS. I DO NOT HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD.
My ex wife then sold her story to every news outlet possible and the story got recycled and the rest is history.
That's it in its very simple terms, I'm not pretending to be a victim here but I do ask that you don't believe everything on the internet just because it has a national brand attached to it.
I am proud of the man I have become and how much I try and help others including raising money for different children's charities.
Haters will comment on this and I know people will judge me. I have to live to with that everyday, thank you to my friends who have stuck by me, who know the real me and understand that nothing I did in the past was meant to hurt anyone.
Those who have met me through Loco will know that I only ever tried to make people smile and was the least money orientated person ever. I gave to every charity that asked for something. I'm far from perfect but I am not the person in that article. Loco's mission was to create new and interesting food at affordable prices and was a safe place for everyone.
