Such a succulent and tasty meat you will be amazed how tender and delicious West Country Water Buffa We are a family run farm near Yeovil, Somerset.

We currently have a herd of 250 Water Buffalo which include the orginal 22 that we imported from Romania. We support local farmer's markets in addition to our farm gate sales. Our herd has adapted well to the Somerset countryside, grazing on fresh grass and finding time for the occasional wallow when the rains allow! During the winter months when the ground becomes water logged the herd moves indo

ors to the comfort of the barns, where they are fed with winter forage grown on the farm. The Buffalo feed on a simple diet of just grass and maize with no added concentrates, completely natural and coming from the farm means no food miles! The Water Buffalo beef that we produce is matured for 3 weeks at the farm shop and then expertly cut by our traditional butcher (Barry). The meat has a fresh and natural taste which is very tender and low in fat, making it a healthier and tasty alternative to traditional beef.

An introduction to this new creation at Buffalicious…the BUFF-N-BLUES burger…a special for this weekend. Using the best somerset ingredients…this is a real gourmet burger that is just so delicious if you love your blue cheese! A Buffalicious burger sat on a bed of caramelised onion, topped with the amazing Bath blue cheese and then dressed with Cultjar preserved Somerset Mushrooms. The pickled mushrooms cut into the salty blue cheese and creates something so amazing for your tastebuds 🤤. We love this burger combo, enjoy!

This Saturday at our Buffalicious Farm Shop we shall be cooking up a selection of delicious buffalo burgers 🍔 🤤 for you to buy and enjoy between 12-17:00pm. We hope to make this a regular occurrence moving forward with a range of different offerings for all our customers to try.

🗓️ Regular Saturday shift
⏰ 9:30am–5pm (hours may be subject to some flexibility) Possibly Fridays seasonally
☀️ Extra shifts potentially available during school holidays
🌴 Flexibility to cover staff holidays would be a real advantage

What you’ll be getting up to:
🥐 Baking our delicious fresh goods and making sandwiches
😊 Serving and chatting with our lovely customers
📦 Preparing and assembling delivery boxes
🏷️ Labelling bottles and tubs
🛒 Restocking the shop
✨ Keeping everything clean, tidy and looking fabulous!

We’re looking for someone 18+ (due to the selling of alcohol) , who’s hardworking, reliable and flexible with a great attitude and a strong work ethic.
