Had high hopes of relaunching at New Year.
2 properties viewed this week, 1 increased the rent for fun, the other was in the Odeon building.
Mez the barber - everyone said "sound guy, local bloke" and he was sound, straightforward and polite during the viewing. He is moving from the tiny end unit into the donut shop.
After viewing the upstairs office space I thought nobody can justify Β£1000per month for a shoebox room.
I wanted to be in the tiny unit, instead he will open yet ANOTHER v**e shop.
Okay... let me rent the unit, work the v**e shop, take on staff and do the deliveries.
Nope, he decides he wants to use Deliveroo.
π what happened to local businesses supporting each other? π€¦ββοΈ that is okay, you pay 30% commission on sales instead of getting free deliveries for your customers. Best of luck dealing with an American company who have absolutely s**t (if not automated) customer service π€·ββοΈ
I hate drama, I know this is a trivial thing to post online, but when you really enjoy doing something that other people love and you try hard to get support, but someone decides to be a tad spiteful for no reason? That isn't cool. It's pointless? Making a business work can be difficult, not enough people talk about it.
