Still time to stock up your freezer before our brief hiatus whilst we get set up in a new bakery. Thank you so much for all your support and to everyone who’s been down over the last few weeks and cleared out all our stock. It’s been a blinder.

If sliced white gives you the heeby-jeebies, or you cant live without our (award winning 🤓) croissants, you’ve still got tomorrow (Beverley) and Sunday (Alne/Helperby). After that, shop will be shut until end of September / start October. For anyone who already came down today, thanks, see you on the other side 😘. g

It’s been a brilliant week of sellouts this week. Just a reminder that we’ve got two weeks to go until we take a bit of a hiatus to move house, last markets will be the 4th,5th & 6th September.

Hopefully we’ll be back up and running again within a few weeks but we’re not really sure so best to get a few of your favourite loaves stashed in the freezer while you can.

Yes we’re baking this week. Yes it’s hot. Yes, Jack is hating every minute… 🫣 but with only four weeks left to go until we sell the house and temporarily close the bakery for an unknown length of time… we figured we’d best crack on and bake through the 38c at 10pm in the bakery temperature 🫠.

1) Get stocked up this weekend because we’re on the four week countdown.

2) Get stocked up this weekend because otherwise Jack might melt into a puddle of heat related despair.

Either way just come and buy loads of bread. We’d really appreciate it 😏.

I’ll endeavour to be early to all the markets. Although you all know punctuality isn’t my forte. Someone take photographic evidence if I make it before 7am !

WE’RE CANCELLING OUR MARKETS THIS WEEK.

Massive apologies but we’re going to have to bail this week. With temperatures set to soar over our main baking days, and the bakery reaching 10-15 degrees higher than outside, it actually gets dangerous.

This is only the second time in ten years that we’ve had an impromptu stop (although slightly unfortunate that it’s only a week after a holiday 🤦‍♀️ ) so we hope you can forgive us!
