It’s been sheep shearing day at Oakwood Farm. Thanks to our friend Anna Hall for doing a very professional job and letting Farmer Rob clip the last sheep! It’s been a long day but we’re all feeling better, especially the sheep who are glad to get those thick woolly coats off in time for the weekend heat wave! You can see the newly clipped girls this weekend by visiting us Farmers Cart and Milk Box York . We’re open Friday Saturday and Sunday 9am to 2pm. See you soon!

Wow! WHAT…..A…..DAY!!!
Thank you all so much for attending our open farm day and for all your lovely comments. We’re very proud of what we’ve achieved in a very short space of time. Receiving all the wonderful comments and seeing you all enjoying yourselves around the farm really made all the hard work worthwhile. From all of us at Oakwood Farm, THANK YOU ❤️

We are hopefully ready for you all tomorrow! There are a lot of people expected so please when you arrive, drive carefully and respectfully and follow the signs into the grass field to park. We have a litter of baby piglets just born today plus all our other animals to see.
