CLEOPATRA GRASS
I am enthralled with this vibrant green starburst beauty. Cleopatra is as delightful in a bouquet as she is graceful in the garden. And to my amazement she is shockingly easy to root in the most unusual way.

SEEDLINGS: THE EASY WAY

We absolutely love cool weather and cool flowers, and nothing is more cheerful after a long cold winter than fresh flowers on your table... or just outside the kitchen window!

Specialty seedlings can be difficult to start and time consuming. Seedlings, or better known as plugs, are easy purchase and easy to plant out. They arrive at the correct time for sowing.

We add frost cloth for protection from the harsh sun and from deer nibbling the young greens. The deer do not care for these flowers when they mature. We remove the cloth on a cloudy day when they grow too large for the space.

White flowers are usually grown in the high tunnel to further protection from the rain and harsh sun.

Plugs come in large quantities and usually three selections to a shipment. If you do not have the room for a multitude of flowers they are great to offer to your fellow flower farmers, garden clubs, or local gardeners.

We purchased these "cool flowers" which thrive in chilly weather and use the low light of winter to trigger massive beautiful blooms early next spring.

This shipment came from Farmer Bailey’s website:
SHOP > PLUGS FROM GRO N SELL.

Cool Orange Snapdragons
Campanula "Bellflowers"
Nigella "Love-in-a-Mist"

SEASONS OF CHANGE

What began as a lifelong passion for year-round curated gardens and graceful design, begged for one more element. As we considered retirement, a specialty cut flower garden had to be planted in the back pasture near the barn. The joy we found in growing and sharing perfect glorious flowers was abundant and well as our harvest. It wasn't long before our bouquet demand out-bloomed our time and energy devoted to such a beautiful hobby. After three years of growing and now retired we are blooming into more of an educational resource. Our online community grew as they requested more information on how to curate a year-round garden for added pleasure and soul care for their family.

Today, we are honored to be a resource and encouragement designed specifically for fellow gardeners. We focus on high-yield, easy-to-grow flower seeds, specialty bulbs, and beautiful foliage, paired with educational guidance to support and inspire flower farmers at every stage of their journey.

Just seemed like yesterday that we planted our summer flowers and opened our fields to our flower loving friends. What fun times! Seasons change and the fields and the farmers are ready to rest after a long hot summer with several storms blowing through.

New seasons bring change. Now it’s time to start saving and sorting seeds. Look for more resources come spring time.
