A little photo dump from around the greenhouse beds 👀

Things are absolutely powering on at the moment — everything from the heat-loving crops to the leafy greens are doing their thing 💚

Courgettes are coming thick and fast, so are the carrots🥕, tomatoes are starting to really stack up, cucumbers are coming on, 🫛peas are still sweet and crisp, and the salads just keep on giving plus much much more 🥗

Lots of herbs and companion plants in amongst the beds to help attract pollinators and other beneficial insects, at the same time deter other unwanted pests. 🪳🪰

It’s that brilliant time of year where you can almost watch things grow day by day.

🎉🌱 Noah's Veg Patch is 1 Year Old! 🌱🎉

One year ago today, Noah's Veg Patch became official.

What started with a handful of seeds and a passion for growing food has grown into something I could only have dreamed of.

Over the last 12 months, I've grown hundreds of plants, supplied kilos++ of fresh produce and eggs to our local community, attended events, won awards, met many incredible people, and hopefully inspired others to have a go at growing.

There have been successes, failures, challenges and plenty of lessons learned along the way, but every step has helped the Veg Patch grow.

From sowing seeds to harvesting fresh produce for the hedge stall, Farm Shop and local events, it's been an incredible journey.

At the heart of it all has been a focus on sustainability and care! Growing in a way that cares for the environment, works with nature, and chemical-free.

I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported the Veg Patch. Whether you've bought produce from the stall, followed my page, shared a post, sponsored a project, donated equipment/or materials, or simply come along for the journey, THANK YOU!. Your support means more than you know.

Looking back, I'm proud of how far the Veg Patch has come in just one year.

Looking ahead, I'm excited for what the future holds, with bigger harvests, new projects, more events and more opportunities to inspire others to grow.

The first year has been amazing, but I truly believe the best is yet to come.

Despite the recent heat, the tomato plants are thriving and are loaded with fruit. Some are even starting to show their incredible colours.

One of the reasons I'm growing heritage and premium varieties is that many of them have amazing flavours you simply can't find in supermarket tomatoes.

Now comes the hard part... waiting for them to ripen! 😅🍅
