THE CAKE EDIT — EPISODE 03

We had one job.

Edit the cake.

Instead… we ate it. 😂

And honestly? We can explain ourselves.

This was a vanilla cake layered with bright, tangy passion fruit curd, covered in silky vanilla buttercream and finished with toasted coconut.

On paper, it sounds simple.
But then you take that first bite…

The vanilla gives you that soft, buttery sweetness.
The passion fruit cuts right through it with that beautiful tartness.
The buttercream brings everything back to creamy and indulgent.
And then… that toasted coconut.

Nutty. Fragrant. A little crisp. Just enough to make you go back for another bite.

And another.

And then suddenly someone has to remind you:
"Guys… we're supposed to be filming."

So yes, we eventually remembered to actually edit the cake and talk about why the pairing works.

But for a few minutes, we were just three people enjoying a really, really good cake.

And that's exactly what we want The Cake Edit to feel like.

Like you're sitting at the table with us.
Taking that first bite.

And then quietly reaching for just one more piece.
