🌱 MacGREEN FARMS LTD Hosts Client on an Eco-Tour of Ghana’s Cocoa Farms 🍫🌳
On Saturday, 8th August 2026, MacGREEN FARMS LTD had the pleasure of hosting a client on an educational and engaging eco-tour of cocoa farms in Ghana’s Western Region.
During the tour, we explored and discussed several important aspects of sustainable cocoa production, including:
🌳 Agroforestry in cocoa production and the role of trees in maintaining healthy and resilient cocoa farms.
🌾 The interaction between cocoa and food crops, and how integrated farming systems can contribute to food security and improve farm productivity.
💰 Increasing farmers’ incomes through diversified production and sustainable agricultural practices.
🤝 Social interventions for cocoa farmers and the importance of supporting farmers and their communities.
♻️ Sustainable and environmentally friendly cocoa production, with emphasis on practices that protect the environment while improving farmers’ livelihoods.
It was a wonderful opportunity to share our knowledge and give our guest a firsthand experience of cocoa farming and the people, practices, and ecosystems behind cocoa production.
At the end of the tour, our client was excited and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We are delighted to have been able to provide an insightful and memorable eco-tour.
