We are very excited to finally share this one 🌱

Ghana Food Movement and Regenerative Vanua are starting a first of its kind collaboration connecting Ghana and the Pacific around Indigenous food knowledge and climate resilience.

Together with ACIAR, the University of the Sunshine Coast and a selected community in Ghana, we will be exploring how local crops, traditional knowledge and regenerative practices can support more resilient food systems.

A big part of this project is exchange. We are looking forward to learning from the South Pacific and sharing knowledge from Ghana along the way.

There has been so much excitement around this collaboration from both teams and we cannot wait to see where it takes us.

Test Café is back — Fulani Edition 🥛🐄

For our next Test Café, we’re celebrating the rich food traditions of the Fulani in collaboration with PeulChefs.

The Test Café is all about small menus and unexpected combinations. This time, we’re exploring Fulani-inspired flavors, local ingredients, and dishes that tell a story. All made in Ghana. All tested on you. 😌

Some things are experimental. But we’re always evolving. So come eat, share your feedback, and help us shape what this café becomes.

We’re sourcing fresh milk and wagashi cheese directly from Fulani herders, alongside a menu inspired by Fulani food culture and reimagined with PeulChefs.

“We have noticed a decline in the consumption of indigenous foods, and once we don’t consume them, farmers don’t grow the ingredients. So what we do at the Ghana Food Movement is encourage more consumption by being innovative with those ingredients.”
