19 days strong and thriving! 🐥💪🏾

Our birds are growing healthy and active as we continue our organic poultry journey. From day one, the focus has been simple: raise strong birds using natural methods, good care, and quality feeding. 🌱

No shortcuts, just patience, learning, and consistent work every day. Watching them grow reminds us that good farming is a journey, not a race.

This is only the beginning. The vision is bigger: building a sustainable farm system that supports healthy food, responsible farming, and long-term growth. 🌾🐔

Thank you to everyone following the journey and supporting the dream. The future looks bright!

🌡️ Surviving the 39°C Heatwave: Day 4 Chronicles 🐣
They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, and these little ones are proving it! Today in Walewale, the mercury hit a blistering 39°C. While most of us are hunting for shade and cold water, these 4-day-old fluffballs are busy showing us how it’s done.

The Survival Strategy:

In this kind of heat, management is everything. We’ve been keeping a close eye on:

Hydration Stations: Keeping that water cool and accessible is a full-time job today.

Ventilation: Ensuring a steady breeze to keep the air moving through the brooder.

Natural Instincts: Watch them in the video—they’re active, alert, and surprisingly unfazed by the Walewale sun!

It’s only Day 4, and they’ve already faced one of the hottest days of the year. If they can handle this, they can handle anything. The farm life isn’t always easy, but seeing this level of energy in the brooder makes every bit of the sweat worth it.

How are you keeping cool today? Drop a 🧊 or a 🐣 below!
