Now is the time to say Goodbye to all you great customers who have all become great friends! We closed the doors on" Zest for Life" last night and are now packing suitcases to head home on Wednesday Morning. Seems very strange NOT to have to head off for work this morning!! Will miss you all.xx

Sadly, we are announcing our retirement this year from end of September. We have had a great seven years and will really miss all of you great people. Time to move on to greener pastures....in this case a caravan trip around Australia. We are joining the group known In OZ as the "Grey Nomads" and thousands just like us are presently touring our vast and beautiful country. We're about to join them! Our son left "Emirates" Airlines earlier this year and now it is prohibitive for us to pay full fares to Corfu annually instead of the great staff fares we've enjoyed for the past 7 years. That combined with our wish to do the caravan thing before we both hit 70, is the reason we are leaving this beautiful place behind, and all the memories we have created since we started. We had a blast running the Juice Bar and how could we ever forget all you loyal and lovely people who have supported us for 7 years. Without you all and your friendship, it would have been a much harder task for us(at our tender age!) but you made it so easy. Thank you one and all. Cuppa awaits any of you who make it to OZ one fine day. Yammas and goodbye. xx Sandra and Shane..xx

In two more days Sandra and I are off on our Thomson Cruise to Malta, Rome, Sorrento, and Messina and Trapani in Sicily....yeeehaaa! Juice bar until Sept 6th in the very capable hands of Kerry and Gwen. Ship Ahoy! Lucky us, we have the drinks package and will try our best to demolish it on our first few days!!

Don't forget to grab your fresh baguettes, or wraps for the airport trip home. Also come and try my "Afghan" cookies...or as our good mate, Gavin calls them..."Taliban Cookies"!! May be an explosion of taste in every bite!! LOL

Great to welcome friends old and new! The UK school holidays have kicked off with a bang and we love to see the resort humming again. We love to see the kids of our friends from UK grow up before our very eyes! We don't change...how the heck do they?? Sunrise....Sunset...cue the music!!

Soooo!~ If you all thought I had finished with making cakes,,,,duuhhh!
In a quieter moment today I was sent up home and made a coffee cake, which was received very well last time I made one in "Her Indoors'" absence. So there.

Sandra's first day back at work in the Juice Bar and she coped fine. She even baked a banana cake whilst unpacking her suitcase yesterday so I have really passed the baking baton to her now!
Still I did not disappoint too many customers either with my cakes and scones!!! Love you all for trying them!!
