🙏🙏 I would like to thank one of our visitors for capturing this moment for me 🩷 There is something truly magical about training the little goat to become the new of the herd while the old leader stands beside him, now 17 years old. There is something deeply tender in seeing him understand that it is time to rest and be cared for by our family after a lifetime of leading. And it is incredibly emotional to realize that for the last 17 years, you have grown up alongside the leader of the farm. Moments like this show the true life of a farm — filled with gratitude, pride, love, and emotions that are hard to put into words !!🩶

🙏🙏 Θα ήθελα να ευχαριστήσω έναν από τους επισκέπτες μας που απαθανάτισε αυτή τη στιγμή για μένα 🩷 Υπάρχει κάτι πραγματικά μαγικό στο να εκπαιδεύεις το μικρό κατσικάκι να γίνει ο νέος #αρχηγός του κοπαδιού, ενώ ο παλιός αρχηγός στέκεται δίπλα του, τώρα 17 ετών. Υπάρχει κάτι βαθιά τρυφερό στο να τον βλέπεις να καταλαβαίνει ότι είναι καιρός να ξεκουραστεί και να τον φροντίσει η οικογένειά μας μετά από μια ζωή ηγεσίας. Και είναι απίστευτα συγκινητικό να συνειδητοποιείς ότι τα τελευταία 17 χρόνια, έχεις μεγαλώσει δίπλα στον αρχηγό του αγροκτήματος. Στιγμές σαν κι αυτή δείχνουν την αληθινή ζωή ενός αγροκτήματος - γεμάτες ευγνωμοσύνη, υπερηφάνεια, αγάπη και συναισθήματα που είναι δύσκολο να περιγραφούν με λόγια.🩶

🌱🌿 Every year around this time, my grandmother would gently gather wild oregano as she walked the mountain paths with our goats. The scent of oregano, the sound of the bells, and her quiet presence made those moments feel timeless and full of love.
🌼🌸 Even today, the smell of oregano always brings my memory back to those precious years.

🐐🐐Our special breed of goats, they come from my grandparent's years, know well how to survive all year in the mountains.

🙏Mothers, give birth to their babies in the outdoor environment, taking care to train their babies to walk from the first minutes of their birth in order to face enemies.
