A Taste of Karpathos 🍷
We are incredibly proud to support small, local businesses here on Karpathos, and this season, we’re excited to introduce a truly special welcome to our guests.
From now on, guests staying in selected Coastlify-managed properties that meet our quality standards will be welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine from Scarpanto Winery, a local, family-run winery that captures the true essence of Karpathos in every bottle.
Established in 2008, Scarpanto is a boutique winery on Karpathos, founded by a local family passionate about reviving the island’s historic wine culture. Their small-batch wines are crafted with care using native grape varieties and traditional methods, resulting in authentic, high-quality expressions of the island.
As part of the welcome gift, you'll receive a bottle of Anemoessa, either:
🍇 Anemoessa White (2024) – A dry white wine made from select white grape varieties native to Karpathos. Light yellow in color with green reflections, it offers fresh citrus and white flower aromas, fruity flavor, moderate acidity, and a long, lemony aftertaste. Perfect with rich seafood dishes, shellfish, cheeses, or white meats in creamy sauces. Best enjoyed chilled at 10–11°C.
🌸 Anemoessa Rosé (2024) – A dry rosé crafted from both white and red local grape varieties. Pale pink in color with a delicate bouquet of spring roses and wild strawberries. It offers elegant acidity with a long, honey-toned finish. A beautiful match for Mediterranean cuisine, served ideally at 10–11°C.
