A glimpse inside 😏🍷

Another one of the and a beautiful, organic family w**ery bequeathed to its next generation by another w**emaker who helped to pioneer and organise Greece’s w**e landscape.

That ethos of innovation and collaboration continues. There is a strong appreciation for French w**e here, and a nod to methods from Burgundy. Another one of the Mantinians, Panagopoulos Winery, is just around the corner, and these smaller family w**eries all help one another to further establish the success of their native varieties - viz. Moschofilero - and help audiences discover the treasures that Greece’s under-recognised vineyards hold. There is an edition of **e_stories on the table when we visit, which features each of the regional collective.

🌍 Previously a travelling w**emaker — a role that took her from the Napa Valley to New Zealand, across New- and Old-World regions — Betty Vervenioti is now carrying forward the w**ery that her parents started in 1990 🇬🇷

🍽️ At Vervenioti in Mantineia, she prepares us a beautiful spread of pairings, including local cheeses, homemade honey, and a Ferrero Rocher **ery

🍷 The conversation leads us through the PDO Mantineia (100% Moschofilero), Rodonitis - a Moschofilero rosé, a Pét Nat and Elisfasion, a red Syrah-Merlot blend with aromas of red fruit and spices that pairs well with the Ferrero.
