It's the words of the judges who tasted our 1450 ΒΙΟ Greek Mountain Tea 🌿 without knowing who was behind it.

We're proud to share the authentic comments from the Great Taste Judges:

''These fabulous looking tea blossoms have been expertly handled to maintain their structure and give an intense clean aroma full of the scent of the tea blossom. A pale golden lemony hue to the brewed liquor maintains its clean refreshing aroma. The flavour is simple but delicious, natural, herbal and refreshing. This sings of the high quality tea blossom that has been well-handled to give a clean natural and tasty tea.

The blossoms are clearly high-quality. When we tasted it, we found a bit of sweetness and a gentle roundness. One judge found this to be good example of Greek mountain tea, but we we would have liked more depth of flavour.

The loose collection of Sideritis blossoms looks attractive, with a light citrus aroma, but when handled a medicinal and resinous aroma develops. The tea is clear with a hint of bronze colour. The flavour however is smooth and soft, and long-lasting, with a light floral hint.

The dry mix is very attractive, with little, bright yellow blooms on the herb. It has been handled with great care - no broken leaves or dust. The aroma has an earthy freshness. The liquor is a delicate pale green, delicious with notes of honey and lemon balm, and low (almost no) astringency. It is an exceptional Greek mountain tea, silky, full-bodied and gentle.''
