‘Vasilikia’ takes its name from one of the virgin beech forests in the birthplace of the farm’s first settler, who chose the location outside the traditional village of Pavliani in 1984. The farm is located at an altitude of 1,010 m, just outside the charming village of Pavliani, which marks the entrance to Oiti National Park. Lying some 235 km from Athens, Pavliani provides an ideal base for expl

oring the national park and engaging in a host of outdoor activities such as cycling and trekking that will better acquaint you with the area’s remarkable natural and cultural heritage. Parnassos and its two ski centers, enchanting Asproneri beach on the shores of the Malian Gulf, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed archaeological site and museum of Delphi.

Το όνομα της φάρμας, Βασιλικιά, προέρχεται από ένα παρθένο δάσος με οξιές από την περιοχή καταγωγής του δημιουργού του αγροκτήματος, ο οποίος επέλεξε και την τοποθεσία του στην είσοδο της Παύλιανης το 1984.

Η Παύλιανη, σε απόσταση 235 χλμ. από το κέντρο της Αθήνας αποτελεί έναν ξεχωριστό τόπο γιά την παρατήρηση της φύσης και ήπιες αθλητικές δραστηριότητες όπως ποδηλασία ή πεζοπορία στα δεκάδες σηματοδοτημένα δασικά μονοπάτια, ατέλειωτους περιπάτους και πικ-νικ δίπλα σε ποταμάκια ή απομονωμένα ξέφωτα μέσα στο δάσος, καθώς και πανέμορφες διαδρομές με αυτοκίνητο ή οχήματα 4x4 που συνδυάζονται υπέροχα με παραδοσιακές γευστικές απολαύσεις στους γύρω οικισμούς και χωριά.

Το αγρόκτημα αποτελεί ένα εξαιρετικό ορμητήριο για όλες τις εποχές, με εύκολη πρόσβαση στον Παρνασσό και τα ομώνυμα χιονοδρομικά κέντρα, την πανέμορφη παραλία Ασπρονέρι στον Βόρειο Ευβοϊκό και βέβαια τον αρχαιολογικό χώρο και μουσείο των Δελφών, μνημείο παγκόσμιας πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς της Unesco.
