🔎On the Cycladic island of Sifnos, the word “Flaros” tells a story of fire, earth, and creativity. Flaros is the ceramic chimney that once crowned the island’s traditional pottery kilns. From afar, it rose like a quiet landmark, signaling that clay was being transformed by flame.
👉More than a practical structure, flaros guided smoke and heat during the firing process, helping potters control the kiln’s “breath.” Each one was shaped by hand, often with small decorative touches, making every flaros unique—much like the potter who created it.
🤲Today, these chimneys stand across Sifnos as silent storytellers, reminding to people that craftsmanship is a way of life, the same as our beers stand for.
