SPRING BISCUITS

A mix of wholemeal and buckwheat flours + a little bit of Matcha tea create a nice and light shortcrust pasty.

In combination with little slices of strawberries 🍓…
just WOWWWWWW

Also the result is fresh, colorful and just makes spring

Serve one with a cup of tea/coffe ( the diameter
of the biscuits is 6 cm, preatty big )

You can keep then in a tin box for same days.

I want a sweet, not too sweet, a kind of magic / rustic, nutritious, rich in fibers and above all GLUTEN FREE….

Voila’ ….Here it is !!!

A cake so soft made with buckwheat flour with the addition of blueberries to give a delicious acidity.

If you are a real sweet tooth you can fill the piece
with a heart of berry jam .. ( flip the post )

ITALIAN SUNSHINE ( the name I chose for this delicious cake ) ☀️ 🍊

In these still gloomy and cold days, very often I think about the Sicilian journey made in December,
at the sun and so good food that we tasted and discovered.

In addition to traditional Cannolo and Cassata, I was enchanted by PAN d’ARANCIO a soft, delicate and fragrant dessert … OMG !!!

Just I enriched it with chopped pistachios, another overeaten element over there and a splash of light whipped cream.

Perfect to share with friends at Coffee break / Tea time !!!

PAN d’ARANCIO can travel parallel to Greek PORTOKALOPITA in terms of intense orange flavour…

Hurrah for Italian 🇮🇹 and Greek 🇬🇷 organic oranges !

ITALIAN SUNSHINE ( the name I chose for this delicious cake ) 🍊 ☀️

Again and again, our favorite combination Dark Chocolate + Beetroot , becomes something really small, just a bite full of goodness.

Let’s make it more precious and delicious with a walnut kernel ( you can see the small size of the sweet from the nut ) ….
