The games we play in our vineyard. Bringing children and their families close to nature and teaching

Young Vines is an outdoor playgroup for pre-school children held at Ktima Kokotou in Stamata. It was set up by parents and teachers who shared the need for their children to spend more time outside, learning from nature.

1. We painted pinecones exploring cones, exploring colour and form and building our fine motor skills.
2. We made May wreaths and May bracelets, delighting in the abundance of wildflowers.
3. We went about our chores in the farm.
4. We engaged in some cool art, exploring light and shadow all around us…

6. We dug for bugs using tools and our hands for some good sensory play.

Παιδιά: 1- 4 ετών

Τα παιδιά με τους γονείς τους μαζεύονται στον “παιδόκηπο” για ελεύθερο παιχνίδι, messy play και κατασκευές από φυσικά υλικά εμπνευσμένα από τα χρώματα της Άνοιξης. Θα φτιάξουμε ατομικούς ανοιξιάτικους κήπους για να πάρουν τα παιδιά στο σπίτι.

Στη βόλτα σας θα βρείτε τα σημάδια της Άνοιξης, θα παρατηρήσετε τη μεταμόρφωση της φύσης στο μποστάνι μας, τον ελαιώνα και τα αμπέλια και θα επισκεφθείτε τα ζώα της φάρμας.

Για παιδιά 5-10 ετών: Τα παιδιά με τις παιδαγωγούς μας θα εξερευνήσουν τον αμπελώνα, τον ελαιώνα και το λαχανόκηπο του κτήματος και θα επισκεφθούν τα ζώα και το δεντρόσπιτο. Στη διαδρομή τους θα συλλέξουν τα απαραίτητα στοιχεία ώστε να φυτέψουν τον δικό τους ατομικό λαχανόκηπο που θα πάρουν μαζί στο σπίτι.

Για ενήλικες: πραγματοποιείται ξενάγηση στο οινοποιείο και τον αμπελώνα με δυνατότητα συμμετοχής σε γευσιγνωσία των κρασιών μας.

Θα πωλούνται καφές, snack και μεσημεριανό φαγητό από το “Δειπνοσοφιστήριον”

Children 1-4 years:

The children with their parents will explore the colours of Spring and plant “take-away” spring gardens.

There will be stations for free play, messy play and crafts using natural and recycled materials inspired by the season’s colours.

We will equip you with a map and a scavenger hunt to explore the grounds and observe nature’s transformation in the vegetable garden, the wildflower meadow and the vineyard. Along the route you can visit the petting farm and feed the chickens and ponies.

Children 5-10 years:

The children with our guides will explore the wildflower meadows, vegetable garden, treehouse and petting farm. Along the way they will collect the ingredients required for a “happy garden” which they will use to make individual gardens to take home.

Στη βόλτα σας θα βρείτε τα σημάδια της Άνοιξης, θα ανακαλύψετε που κρύβονται τα minibeasts και να επισκεφτείτε τα ζώα του κτήματος.
Παιδιά: 5-10 ετών

The children with their parents will discover the world of minibeasts in our “children’s garden”. There will be stations for free play, messy play and crafts. The children will make colourful butterflies, furry bees and colourful flowers to decorate the garden.
Follow our map and scavenger hunt to explore the grounds and discover signs of spring. Along the route you will visit the petting farm and feed the chickens and ponies.
Children 5-10 years:
The children will go on a minibeast hunt to discover the tiny animals that support our ecosystem. We will search the bee garden and the ponds, the vegetable garden and the olive grove and learn through interactive games, sensory play and crafts using natural materials. The children will make colourful butterflies, furry bees and flowers using natural materials to decorate the garden with.

Παιδιά: 1- 4 ετών

Ελεύθερο παιχνίδι, κατασκευές και Messy Play στον παιδόκηπο με θέμα «Γνωρίζουμε και Προστατεύουμε τα Ζώα τον Χειμώνα». Με οδηγό τον χάρτη του κτήματως, παιδιά και γονείς θα ανακαλύψουν τη φύση που κρύβεται τον χειμώνα!

Παιδιά: 5-10 ετών

Στον ελαιώνα, το μελισσώνα, το αγρόκτημα και το δάσος του κτήματος μαθαίνουμε για τα ζώα, άγρια και ήμερα, και πώς μπορούμε να τα βοηθήσουμε τον χειμώνα.
Μία περιήγηση, όπου τα παιδιά μαθαίνουν για τους ρόλους των ζώων στον κύκλο της ζωής και την συμβολή τους στη βιοποικιλότητα του πλανήτη από τα έντομα (μέλισσες) μέχρι τα θηλαστικά του κτήματος (τα pony). Στην εξερεύνησή μας θα ανακαλύψουμε παγωμένα νερά, θα φτιάξουμε καταφύγια για μικρά θηλαστικά και ταϊστρες για τα αγριοπούλια.

Ενήλικες:

Ξενάγηση στο οινοποιείο και τον αμπελώνα (απλή είσοδος)

Συμμετοχή σε γευσιγνωσία των κρασιών μας (εισιτήριο γευσιγνωσίας)

Θα πωλούνται καφές & φαγητό από το «Δειπνοσοφιστήριον» για να απολαύσετε το μεσημεριανό σας στους εσωτερικούς θερμαινόμενους χώρους του Κτήματος

Children 1-4 years:

Through interactive stations, messy play and making simple objects, the children will learn about winter wildlife and how they can look after it. Each family will be given a scavenger hunt to discover our animals in the petting- farm and the winter landscape.

Children 5-10 years:

A walk through the olive grove, woods and petting-farm where the children learn how animals survive through winter when food is scarce, water freezes and snow falls. Through interactive play and making simple objects, we learn how to help our local wildlife.
