It is truly moving to witness the efforts of four generations being embraced with such warmth and recognition. Guided always by the light of Santorini, the wines of Estate Argyros now shine across the world.

From our recent award at the pioneering initiative — brilliantly led by and showcasing the excellence of Greek wine on a global stage — to the memorable masterclass and dinner held in London by our trusted partners , the feedback we received from esteemed wine professionals fills us with pride and deep responsibility.

A true highlight was the recognition from Julia Harding MW, the distinguished collaborator of Jancis Robinson MW, both during the Great Greek Wines event and at the recent London masterclass.

All we can say is a heartfelt thank you — and offer a promise of continued humility, hard work, and dedication in the years to come. We are committed to honoring the trust placed in us and to being worthy of the love we’ve received.

"Kali Sarakosti," everyone 🦞🇬🇷
"Sarakosti" is an important part of the Greek Orthodox faith and society.
During Sarakosti, Greek Orthodoxs follow a fasting period of 40 days in order to reflect on the significance of Christ's resurrection and celebrate with their family.
For all these days, people restrain from eating meat, dairy, or fish but they are allowed to eat seafood.
Sarakosti, an archaic custom, should be preserved and passed down to future generations.
So grap your favorite bottle of Assyrtiko and say "Kali Sarakosti" with your friends and family

The best vintage... until the next one..
They say that patience is a virtue and that haste often leads you to dead ends. So, time has passed, and we are now pleased to announce the release of the new Cuvee Monsignori 2022 for the Greek market. .
🌟Cuvee Monsignori, "the child of the volcano," comes to be released after a one-year break because the 2021 vintage did not meet the quality standards we set for this prestigious wine. This decision was far from easy, but the philosophy of Estate Argyros since 1903 is to be consistent with its history and the people who support it..
On the other hand, the year 2022 was a stellar vintage, and it is no secret to say that this is the top vintage of recent years. During 2022, everything turned out exactly as it should, from the awakening of the vines to this wonderful and unforgettable harvest. As a result, the 2022 vintage produced unique quality wines that will go down in history for their tremendous aging ability.
During this time, demand for Cuvee Monsignori peaked, and excellent reviews were written about it. At the same time, it swept the competitions it took part in, culminating in the TIWC where it received the Best White Wine, Best Assyrtiko, and the highest distinction of all, the Best of Show..
Cuvee Monsignori comes from the oldest pre-phylloxeric vineyard of Santorini, which has been characterized as one of the most historic and emblematic in the world. In this "hostile yet charismatic" place, the average age of the vineyards far exceeds 200 years, the saltiness of the sea becomes one with the lava and the Santorini assyrtiko gives a sensational expression that cannot be found anywhere in the world. .
Cuvee Monsignori 2022 screams its origin and uniqueness. The characteristic volcanic minerality of Santorini in the nose is followed by an explosive taste that conquers the palate. An unparalleled combination of strength and finesse, wealth and giftedness, generosity, and rigor. A wine of mythical aging, which we will remember forever as the greatest vintage of all time.. until the next one.
