Some wineries make wine. Others try to recover an entire way of living. 😌🇪🇸🥂

That’s what fascinated me about , with each sip unveiling a different chapter of its heroic story.

Hidden in the Montmell mountains of Catalonia, more than 600 meters above sea level and surrounded by forests and Mediterranean biodiversity, Can Sumoi is not simply a minimal intervention wine project. Led by Pepe Raventós, 21st generation of the Raventós family, it is a long-term effort to reconnect viticulture with rural life, memory, architecture and continuity.

After decades of abandonment, old vineyards, traditional farmhouses and forgotten agricultural landscapes are slowly being brought back to life.

Part of this restoration also includes the revival of the old cooperative winery, reconnecting the project with the agricultural and social memory of the region.

The philosophy of the project speaks about restoring human presence in the countryside, protecting biodiversity, reviving local agricultural culture and preserving a slower agricultural rhythm shaped by people, animals and manual work in the vineyards.

The vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically, harvest is done by hand and the wines are fermented with indigenous yeasts, allowing the landscape to remain at the center of the expression. And you can feel this intention inside the glass.

La Rosa 2025, a blend of Sumoll and Xarel·lo, balances between high-altitude mountain freshness and Mediterranean softness. Vibrant, textured, alive, expresses the energy of landscape through native varieties and minimal intervention.

The Xarel·lo 2025 feels more grounded and precise, shaped by altitude, forests and the slower rhythm of the Montmell landscape. Freshness, tension and purity come together in a way that feels deeply connected to place.

Fermented with indigenous yeasts, allow the vineyard to speak honestly, without much intervention masking the identity of the terroir.

Wine can preserve landscapes, stories and people before they disappear. And maybe that's what makes certain wines feel truly alive..

There are wines you simply taste.. 😌✨🥂

And then those that slowly pull you into an entire philosophy of living. That was exactly my experience trying Barriccato Bianco during my stay at in Tuscany 🇮🇹. I savored wines reflecting an entire way of life.

Textured, slightly cloudy and beautifully expressive, with depth, freshness and energy, it carried something far more interesting than technical perfection: identity. The kind of wine that reflects not only terroir, but an entire ecosystem and philosophy behind it.

At Fattoria La Vialla, wine is never disconnected from the land itself 🐞. Everything follows the same biodynamic rhythm: biodiversity, living soils, native yeasts, composting systems, low sulphite levels and a circular philosophy where vineyards, olive groves, vegetable gardens, animals and people all work together as one organism. ♻️

And somehow, you can genuinely feel that inside each glass of wine.

Barriccato Bianco is produced from traditional Tuscan varieties 🍇, a blend of Chardonnay and Viognier, following a low-intervention philosophy with indigenous yeasts and minimal winery intervention, allowing the wine to evolve naturally while preserving texture, authenticity and a strong sense of place.

But what made this experience unforgettable wasn’t only the wine itself. It was the entire atmosphere around it.

Over 30 restored Tuscan farmhouses 🏡 hidden between vineyards and olive groves. Long communal lunches under a giant fig tree. Artisanal pasta, estate olive oil 🫒, seasonal vegetables and wine continuously flowing around one long table 🍅 where strangers slowly become part of the same shared atmosphere.

Nothing feels staged for tourism. The houses feel lived in. The food feels deeply seasonal. And the wines feel honest, vibrant and alive.

You arrive thinking you’re visiting a Farm and Wine Estate.

But you leave understanding a completely different philosophy around wine, food, hospitality and slower living.. 🤲

Open Doors 2026 is here 🇬🇷 🎉🍷

One of Greece’s biggest celebrations of wine tourism, the stories, and the people behind the wines.

This year, I’ll be visiting this Sunday in Mantineia, Peloponnese, and I can’t wait to experience it all firsthand, from the wines and the landscape to the atmosphere of the region itself.

I’ll be sharing the experience with you along the way, so stay tuned for a closer look into one of Greece’s most beautiful wine destinations and the world of Moschofilero. 🌿

If you’ll be there too, come say hi. Love, G. ✨

Great wine is never accidental, it is shaped long before it reaches the glass. 🍷

At  🇬🇷, winemaking begins in the vineyard, at 600 meters altitude, in the hills of Nemea. The region’s microclimate allows for lower yields, balanced natural acidity, and structured fruit, forming the foundation of wines with depth and precision.

Under the direction of ✨  ✨, the winemaking approach balances science with intuition, combining technical precision with a deep understanding of the vineyard.

The philosophy is rooted in a strong Greek identity. Agiorgitiko, the iconic red of Nemea 🍇, and Moschofilero, offering a fresh and aromatic white expression 🌸, sit at the core of the portfolio, plus other Greek varieties such as Malagousia and Roditis, adding further depth and expression to the white wines.

Alongside them, selected international varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, contribute structure, complexity, and stylistic range.

The portfolio also explores more contemporary expressions, including low-alcohol wines, reflecting a modern and evolving approach to winemaking.

Designed to follow gravity, the winery minimizes intervention, allowing the wine to evolve naturally from fermentation to aging, where time plays a defining role, shaping balance, depth, and character across each wine.

Sustainability is part of this philosophy, a long term approach that respects the land, preserves resources, and supports the future of winemaking. 🌿

But beyond the process, it is the people who bring it all together. From the vineyard to the cellar, every decision and every detail reflects experience, intuition, and a shared commitment to quality.

This is where craft, place, and people come together. This is wine, connected to its place.

Thank you for the wonderful experience.

See you soon! 😌💕

What would you say to your younger self, if you could walk beside them for just one moment? 😌✨💕

This trend reminded me that sometimes the younger version of ourselves already knew who we were becoming. “She wanted a life with freedom. So I’m still building one for her.” 🍷

Not perfectly. Not instantly. Not without fear, changes, mistakes, heartbreaks, risks, or starting over. But little by little, the life she once imagined became real: vineyards, stories, travel, wine, people, purpose.

Back then, she didn’t know the difficult parts behind the dream. The pressure. The uncertainty. The lonely moments. The growth that comes from rebuilding yourself again and again.

She only knew she wanted a life that felt meaningful and free. 🍃

And maybe… she would be proud that we never let go of that dream, even while still figuring things out along the way. Because the truth is, you never really know where life will take you next.

And honestly, if I could say something to my younger self, it would probably be: “Never stop dreaming.”

I’d genuinely love to read your answers. Thank you for being here and growing through this journey with me. 🙏

Love, G 🤍

Wine tourism is evolving, and it’s no longer just about tasting wine. ✨😌✨

At , in Nemea, Greece 🇬🇷, the experience unfolds as a complete ecosystem, where vineyard, winemaking, gastronomy, and hospitality come together in one seamless journey.

Located at 600 meters altitude in the hills of Koutsi, Nemea PDO region, in Peloponnese, the Estate benefits from a unique microclimate that allows for low yields, balanced natural acidity, and structured wines. This is where everything begins, in the vineyard.

From there, the experience moves into the winery, where each step of the process is guided by precision and respect for the fruit. Designed to follow gravity, the winemaking approach minimizes intervention and preserves the purity and character of the wine.

But what truly defines the experience is what happens beyond the production. 🍷

Visitors walk through the vineyards, explore the cellar, and take part in guided tastings, set in a monastic-style stunning cellar, where wine is experienced in a more intimate and atmospheric way.

Here, indigenous varieties such as Agiorgitiko, the iconic red of Nemea, and Moschofilero, offering a fresh and aromatic white expression, are presented alongside other selected Greek and international varieties. 🍇

The journey continues through immersive wine tourism experiences around the Estate like the picnic I chose, but also with delicious gastronomy in the bistro, where wine meets Greek flavors and seasonal ingredients, creating pairings that reflect the wider Peloponnese region.

And for those who want to meditate in this serene vibe, the experience extends even further as you can stay in the beautiful suites set within the Estate, offering a slower, more close connection to the landscape. ⛰️

This is a place where wine is experienced in context, as a reflection of the ecosystem, people, and terroir.

A secret wine experience that, until recently, was reserved for a few, now is open to all wine lovers. 🦋

📍 Save this for your next wine trip to Nemea and tune in for the last part of our visit!

More than a winery, is a living ecosystem. 🍃🍇🍃

At the core of everything lies a deep commitment to regeneration and circular economy, not as concepts, but as values lived every single day.

A family-run estate in Tuscany, brought back to life in 1978 today cultivating over 1,600 hectares, making it one of the largest Demeter-certified biodynamic estates in Europe.

But what truly defines it isn’t the scale. It’s the way everything is connected. Wine, olive oil, cheese, sughi , pasta, honey ….and cosmetics ,. ✨

Α complete system where nothing exists in isolation. From vineyard to bottle. From vegetable patch to jar.

Here, regeneration means 🪻:

– restoring life to the soil
– working with biodiversity, not against it
– building a self-sustaining ecosystem
– thinking beyond a single harvest

Recognized globally but rooted deeply in something more important: a relationship with the land built on respect, continuity, and responsibility.

More than wine. A system. A philosophy. A way forward. This is where this journey begins. From the ground up. 🐝

“Building a Digital Marketing Strategy in Wine” — full episode in bio 😎🎙️

I joined once again the IWP to talk about what actually drives growth today:

Not more content.
Not more visibility.
But self awareness.

Most wine brands don’t struggle because of quality. But because they’re not clearly understood. Clarity in what your brand stands for and why someone should choose it.

In a low-consumption, high-choice market: people don’t buy what they don’t understand.

📌 If you’re rethinking how your brand fits into a changing market: powerful storytelling, cultural identity, and emotional marketing matter more than ever.

I work with ambitious wine brands and creators globally ready to evolve their digital marketing strategy, not just their content.

🌏 Tomorrow is the Malbec World Day. 🍷

A variety that didn’t become global by accident. It became because someone chose to rethink it. Success doesn’t happen over night.

Catena Zapata don’t just produce great wine, but redefined the whole thinking behind it. Because in today’s reality good quality is expected, but your positioning is what travels.

And that’s the real takeaway:

From product → to storytelling
From quality → to culture
From origin → to identity

📌 If you’re rethinking how your brand fits into a changing market: powerful storytelling, cultural identity, and emotional marketing matter more than ever.
