We are proud to share two wonderful recognitions from the 2026 Golden Chopsticks Master Star-Rated Hotel Quality Dining Awards Ceremony (2026 尋味金筷子星級酒店品質餐飲榮耀盛典). 🏆🏆

Mystic Island Winery was named Best Resort Winery (最佳度假酒庄), while Chef Ren Shengshui received the Master Chef Award (廚藝大師).

These two honours are particularly meaningful because they recognise two important parts of the experience we have been creating in Qiushan Valley.

Mystic Island Winery has always been about more than what is poured into a glass. It is a destination where wine, gastronomy, nature and hospitality come together — a place to slow down, discover the character of our wines and enjoy the beauty of the valley.

A business trip. A beautiful valley. A dream that would change everything.

When Rita Kung and KC first visited Qiushan Valley in 2008, they weren’t searching for a winery. They simply fell in love with the landscape and its people. What began as an unexpected journey eventually became Mystic Island Winery.

In her recent interview with Gafencu 高峰傲, Rita reflects on that journey—from discovering the region’s potential to learning that great wine begins with caring for the land and the community around it.

It’s a personal story about taking a leap of faith, embracing nature and believing that every vineyard has its own voice.

Mystic Island Winery was delighted to host an exclusive wine pairing dinner at 香港麗思卡爾頓酒店-天龍軒 Tin Lung Heen, bringing together guests for an unforgettable culinary experience.

Each course was thoughtfully paired with one of our award-winning wines, creating a dialogue between the flavours of Cantonese cuisine and the character of our wines from Qiushan Valley.

Mystic Island Winery was delighted to collaborate with Chill Ladies Success Circle and 818 The Seafood for an exclusive Wine Pairing Dinner overlooking Victoria Harbour.

During the evening, guests enjoyed a curated journey through five of Mystic Island Winery’s award-winning wines — Yihu Franc Blanc 2024, Chardonnay 2020, Chardonnay Reserve 2023, YUEYUN Qiupin Dry Red 2019 and Yihu Dry Red 2018. Each wine was carefully paired with the menu to showcase its unique character, while celebrating the diversity, craftsmanship and quality that have earned our wines recognition at international and regional competitions.

More than a wine dinner, the evening celebrated meaningful conversations, new friendships and the joy of sharing exceptional wine around the table.

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming a Russian artist, Elena Klimova, who has spent more than 15 years living in Hong Kong. During her visit, she was inspired by the tranquil landscape surrounding our winery and created a beautiful plein air painting overlooking the lake and vineyards.

Watching the scene come to life through an artist’s eyes reminded us that great wine and great art share something in common—both capture a moment, a feeling, and a sense of place.

We are grateful for this memorable visit and look forward to creating more opportunities where wine, culture, and creativity come together.
