A typical night in Dubai Creek Harbour.
It’s been a few months since I am back and I wanted to show you what is it like for real on the ground. We always walk in the evening in our neighborhood to have some fresh air before dinner.
One of our favorite place is the Vida Creek Beach Hotel. Look at that man made lagoon, it goes on forever, because our pool is being renovated, we will come here one day for a sunset swim.
A short 10mins walk and we arrived to our hangout bar, the Courtyard. It literally an air conditioned atrium with comfy couch and big screen TV for sports fan. Food is always good, sh**ha, a cocktail and super chill. Best part is we can just walk home after our night cap!
It’s starting to get hot in May and it’s less crowded. There is always a sense of calm and safety of this city. Kids running around, doggies having a walk. As some people might describe it as fake, it is home to a lot of expat where their home country does not provide as much opportunity for them as in UAE. If I am in my 20s, this will definitely be a place to be.
