好開心同一班長者街坊喺天台種植槽度過咗充實嘅有機耕種工作坊～ 我哋一齊認識香草同農作物,親手打理呢片城市中嘅小天地🌱 除咗落手耕種，大家仲玩埋「植物拓印」，用時令嘅枝葉同花將天然色素轉印落環保袋上🎨 每一件作品都獨一無二，長者們一邊創作一邊傾偈，笑聲滿載整個下午😊 耕種同創作無分年齡，只要落手落腳，一樣可以感受大自然嘅療癒同樂趣 💚

We had a wonderful time with a group of elderly neighbours at a hands-on organic farming workshop 🌱 Together we got to know the herbs and crops, and cared for this little green haven in the heart of the city. Beyond planting, everyone tried leaf-and-flower rubbing (natural dye printing), using seasonal leaves and flowers to transfer their natural pigments onto eco bags 🎨 Every piece turned out one-of-a-kind, and the afternoon was full of chatter and laughter 😊
Growing and creating know no age, with a little hands-on effort, anyone can feel the joy and healing of nature 💚

We were honoured to host a basil pesto workshop at the HKUST MBA Mentorship Programme celebration night! We brought freshly harvested basil straight from our farm, and participants blended it with pine nuts, olive oil and cheese to create their own jars of fragrant homemade pesto 🌿 From learning about organic farming to experiencing "farm to table" first-hand, everyone had a delicious time 😋 Turns out mentorship is a lot like growing. With care, nurturing and collaboration, small efforts grow into something real and rewarding 💚

🌱 One morning, every part of food-and-agriculture education!
A group of kids joined us at the organic farm for a fun-packed half-day tour 🌿 Learning about organic growing, biodiversity and where food really comes from
🧑‍🌾 Getting hands-on in the field, planting and harvesting for themselves
🍕 Making pizza with fresh farm ingredients, plus salad, pasta and drinks for a healthy shared lunch
🎨 And an eco workshop to finish. Leaf-rubbing tote bags, each child taking home their own creation

From field to table to hands-on making, every part was a living lesson in food and farming education — planting the seeds of caring for nature in young hearts 💚

城市耕種唔淨止係種植同照顧植物。遇上落雨天，我哋轉戰室內，一齊玩天然植物染！今次用蘇木嘅天然色素，經過紮染、浸泡，普通嘅環保袋就變身成一件件獨一無二嘅時尚作品 🧡 每一款紋理都係獨一無二，各有特色。參加者一邊動手一邊傾偈，落雨天一樣過得充實又滿足 💚 大自然唔止養活我哋，亦為生活添上色彩 🌱

🌿 A rainy-day plan full of colour 🎨
Urban farming isn't only about planting and tending crops. When the rain rolls in, we head indoors for some natural plant dyeing! This time we used the natural pigment of sappanwood. Through tying and soaking, plain tote bags transformed into one-of-a-kind pieces in warm russet-red 🧡 Every pattern is unique, each with its own depth and character. Participants chatted as they worked. Prooved that a rainy day can be just as fulfilling 💚 Turns out nature doesn't just feed us. It colours our lives in the gentlest of hues 🌱

Under bright sunshine, neighbours gathered at Fairview Urban Farm to share the joy of harvest ☀️ The planters are bursting with life — perilla, basil, rosemary, sweet potato leaves and water spinach, all lush and green, the reward of careful tending 💚 From sowing and fertilising to harvesting, watching the seedlings grow a little more each day, that sense of achievement is exactly what makes urban farming so special 🌾

A group of kids joined us for a packed organic farm experience day 🌱 We started with a farmer-led tour to meet all the crops, then got hands-on in the field: loosening soil, sowing, watering, and learning to plant 🪴 And the moment everyone was waiting for? Making our own pizzas! Fresh-picked basil straight from the field for toppings, then sliding each pizza into the oven with a pizza peel 🔥 The aroma, that first bite. 今次喺錦繡花園，我哋一齊動手整彩繪小木凳！由拼砌木條、用木槌敲入榫位，到最後親手上色裝飾，男女老幼齊齊參與，人人都做出獨一無二嘅作品 🔨🎨 喺農田木凳係農夫嘅好幫手，我哋成日坐喺凳仔上面，除草、細心照顧每一棵幼苗🌾 而喺屋企,呢張小木凳又可以變成換鞋凳，實用又窩心，將農場嘅智慧帶入日常生活🏡 由親手製作到日日陪伴，一張木凳連繫嘅唔止係手作嘅樂趣，更係人與自然、人與人之間嘅溫度💚

🪵 A little wooden stool, a farmer’s best friend! 🌱
At Fairview Park, we rolled up our sleeves with the community to build our very own wooden stools! From fitting the pieces together and tapping the joints in with a mallet, to painting and decorating at the end, everyone, young and old, joined in to create something uniquely their own 🔨🎨 Why a stool? Because out in the fields, a stool is a farmer’s trusty companion. We sit on it as we tend to every seedling with care 🌾 And back home, that same little stool becomes the perfect perch for putting on your shoes. Practical, heartwarming, and carrying a piece of farm wisdom into everyday life 🏡 From building it by hand to having it by your side each day, a wooden stool connects more than just the joy of making. It’s the warmth between people and nature, and between one another 💚

一班小學生離開課室，走入有機農場，展開一場充滿驚喜嘅可持續發展探索之旅🌱 佢哋喺農場入面觀察各種農作物，仲親手採摘藍蝶豆花，認識大自然嘅奧妙💜

之後小朋友化身小設計師，運用拓印技巧，將花朵同葉子嘅天然色素敲印落環保袋上，創作出獨一無二、屬於自己嘅作品🎨🍃 最後仲親手製作咗一個空氣草吊飾帶返屋企，將今日嘅回憶同綠意延續落去🦔🌿

由觀察、採收到動手創作，每一步都係一堂生動嘅食農教育課，喺小朋友心中悄悄種下愛護自然嘅種子🌏💚

🌿 Little farmers for a day, connecting with nature! A group of primary school students stepped out of the classroom and into our Kam Tin organic farm for a day of sustainability discovery 🌱 They explored the farm, observed all kinds of crops, and picked butterfly pea flowers with their own hands — uncovering the wonders of nature 💜

Then the children became little designers, using leaf-and-flower rubbing skill to transfer natural pigments from flowers and leaves onto their very own eco bags 🎨🍃 To finish, each made a hanging air plant ornament to bring home, carrying a little piece of today's greenery with them 🦔🌿

From observing and harvesting to hands-on creating, every step was a living lesson in food and farming education — quietly planting the seeds of caring for nature in young hearts 🌏💚
