兩益於1946年在灣仔成立,最初只是一間小型的本地批發商,經營食品、雜貨、啤酒及烈酒生意。經過不斷的努力拓展,兩益與各大小商舖、酒吧、夜總會、酒店及會所等成功地建立了良好的商務關係,並於1960年成為本地啤酒市場最大的批發商。

市場對酒類飲品的需求量在七十年代明顯增加,有見及此,兩益亦於世界不同的產酒區輸入多種酒類推出市場,包括:威士忌、力嬌、伏架、毡酒、冧酒、拔蘭地及葡萄酒,使公司的業務更上一層樓。

隨著時間的過去,在各員工的衷誠合作下,兩益成功地由一間批發商號演變成一間擁有多元化業務的公司。
