Vetty's Kitchen - HK Helpers Cooking Classes

At Vetty's Kitchen we will teach your Helper how to cook homely and delicious Western family meals,

Vetty's Kitchen was born from a love of cooking and sharing delicious food with family and friends. We now want to extend that love of good home cooking to you, your Helper or Nanny. Come along and learn the art of cooking great homely, healthy and wholesome foods, Western style. Not only will we have some delicious ideas, we are also happy to teach your Helper how to make YOUR family favourites.

If you have a recipe you'd like your Helper to master - we'd be happy to help teach them how to make it. In Vetty's kitchen, we specialise in one-on-one, hands on classes as well as demonstration classes in groups of 2-3.

Are you looking to support and inspire your Helper to expand their knowledge, confidence and repertoire in cooking delicious home cooked dinners, snacks and treats – with a special focus on, but not limited to, Western food?

Then book her into our upcoming cooking classes. Our classes cover a combination of Lunch Box Snacks, Week Night Favourites, Family Favourites, Winter Warmers, Baking for Beginners, Vegetarian and more.

All classes are held in Yau Ma Tei with a maximum of four (4) participants. We also hold one-on-one classes at request.
Our class fee includes all ingredients and participants are able to sit and enjoy all the dishes we make during the class. Take home treats will also be available in some classes.

Vetty's Kitchen whipped up a few of our delicious weeknight favourites this morning - Thai Quinoa Salad, Japanese Dumplings and Chicken Laksa! Thanks to the lovely Hermie and Angie for a fun morning cooking with you both!

It was another fun morning spent in Vetty's Kitchen today!

These two lovely and smiley returning ladies, learnt a few of our delicious dishes from our Quick & Easy menu. Our Bombay Potato Salad, Chicken Sausage Rolls and Chicken Laska all went down a treat!

Ladies, it was an absolute pleasure cooking with you these last few weeks. Looking forward to cooking with you again soon!

It was a full house in Vetty's Kitchen today for our Summer Salads class!

The lovely Riza, Mila, Norie, Lyn and Shay joined us for a fun morning learning how to make a few of our delicious salads - Thai Beef Salad, Lentil & Chickpea Salad, Vietnamese Salad and as a bonus, we threw in an extra dish - Tomato Bruschetta!

All the salads were a hit with plates and bowls wiped clean - always a sign of a fabulous class sharing delicious and tasty dishes!

Thanks for sharing my kitchen, ladies - it was a pleasure as always! :) Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!

It's such a pleasure to share your passion of cooking with people who love to learn, cook, eat and laugh! These lovely ladies were the perfect cooking companions in today's Quick and Easy class.

On the menu today was our tasty and healthy Thai Quinoa Salad, Curried Vegetable Patties and Beef Kofta!

All three dishes went down a treat and the girls are looking forward to our next class where they will be learning to make more of our delicious Summer Salads!

We got our baking on in Vetty's Kitchen yesterday with our Baking Classics class!

Malteser Slice, Gingerbread Loaf and Raspberry & White Chocolate Muffins were all on the menu and not only did these lovely ladies get the chance to learn how to make (and eat) these, there were lots of laughs along the way!

Lovely to meet and cook with you Lyn and Riza and lovely to see you again Melanie. Looking forward to seeing you again soon! :)

There's nothing better than sharing your love of cooking with a great bunch of ladies and we did just that in Vetty's Kitchen today!

In today's Family Favourites class, we made homemade Tortillas, Mexican Chilli Beef and Chicken Fajitas! The perfect Mexican feast!

Thanks for a great day in the kitchen girls! We were enjoying it so much that we kept forgetting to take photos! :)

Looking forward to seeing you all again soon! :)

We whipped up some delicious family favourites in Vetty's Kitchen today!

Tomato Bruschetta, Meatloaf with Onion Gravy and Potato Gratin all featured on today's menu.

It may be the holidays, but Vetty's Kitchen has been getting a great work-out lately!

In this morning's class, we whipped up a few of our ever-popular Family Favourites - Crispy Chicken Fingers, Loaded Mashed Potato Cups and Beef Shepherd's Pie - DELICIOUS!!
