Proud moment to share the story behind DALMATIAN UNDERDOG is now featured on Uplift.hr.

It’s about more than olive oil. It’s about coming back home to Zadar, rebuilding something honest, and proving that small local producers can play on a world stage.

Our family farm, OPG Ivan Atelj, makes organic extra virgin olive oil the way it should be: hand-picked, cold-pressed, and rooted in Dalmatian soil. What started as a simple idea has become a brand trusted by people across Europe and beyond.

We’re excited to announce that Dalmatian Underdog has been awarded a scholarship for the Uplift Academy, organized by Algebra Bernays University and Mastercard.
The program supports entrepreneurs in tourism, hospitality, and small farms who want to learn, grow, and take their ideas further.

For us, it’s more than a scholarship,it’s recognition for our dedication to creating authentic Dalmatian olive oil and motivation to keep raising the bar for Croatian organic EVOO.

We started small. Just a few olive trees, a lot of sun, and the stubborn idea that real quality still matters.

Today, Dalmatian Underdog was chosen as one of 32 small entrepreneurs in Croatia to receive the Uplift Academy scholarship — a program that supports local businesses doing things the right way, not the easy way.

This recognition means a lot for a tiny organic olive oil brand from Zadar. It’s proof that hand-picked, cold-pressed, and honest work can still stand out in a noisy world.
