Les États-Unis disposent d'opportunités d'échange et d'éducation pour les Haïtiens. Des centaines d'anciens bénéficiaires de ces programmes financés par les États-Unis mettent en pratique actuellement en Haïti les connaissances qu'ils ont acquises. Nous aimerions mettre en avant ces anciens étudiants dans les semaines à venir.
Nous vous présentons Medgine J. Orvil, une militante passionnée pour l'autonomisation des femmes et le développement durable en Haïti.
À travers son dévouement et ses efforts, elle a contribué à mettre sur pied des initiatives qui soutiennent les jeunes et les femmes dans l'ensemble du pays. En tant qu'ancienne participante au programme YLAI, Medjine s’est impliquée dans des projets tels que l'Académie de l'entrepreneuriat agricole durable et Galata Fanmi, qui visent l'autonomisation des femmes et la promotion d'une croissance durable au sein des communautés locales. Avec une formation en secrétariat bilingue et une formation supplémentaire en gestion, évaluation de projet et tourisme, Medjine s'efforce d'inspirer les générations futures et de faire la différence dans sa communauté. En avril prochain, elle aura l'occasion de parler de son travail en Haïti à des étudiants de l'université du Nebraska. Bonne continuation Medjine !

The United States offers various exchange and educational opportunities to Haitians, and there are hundreds of alumni from these U.S.-funded programs who are currently applying the knowledge they gained in Haiti. In the coming weeks, we aim to highlight some of these inspiring individuals.
Meet Medgine J. Orvil, a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and sustainable development in Haiti.
Through her unwavering dedication, she has been instrumental in creating initiatives that support youth and women across the country.
As a Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative - YLAI alumna, Medgine has contributed to projects such as the Academy of Sustainable Agricultural Entrepreneurship and Galata Fanmi, which focus on empowering young entrepreneurs and promoting sustainable growth in local communities.
With a background in bilingual secretarial studies and additional training in management, project evaluation, and tourism, Medgine is committed to inspiring future generations and making a lasting impact in her community. In April, she will have the honor of speaking to students at the University of Nebraska about her work in Haiti. We are excited to celebrate Medgine’s achievements!
