🥈 Nemzetközi dobogón a Czech Mate! 🌶️🍺

Hatalmas öröm ért minket: a Czech Mate nevű cseh barna sörös, édes chili szószunk II. helyezést ért el az amerikai Wisconsin államban megrendezett 2026-os Artisan International Flavor Awards versenyen, a különleges szószok kategóriájában!
Ez az első alkalom, hogy valamelyik szószunk nemzetközi versenyen dobogós lett, úgyhogy most nagyon boldogok vagyunk. 😄
A Czech Mate háromféle import cseh barna és félbarna sörrel, valamint sárga habanero chilivel készül. Ettől lett édes, malátás és karakteres, és most már háromszoros díjnyertes szósznak mondhatjuk: a Magyar Ízek Versenye és a Bánya BBQ & Blues után Amerikában, a 2026-os Artisan International Flavor Awards versenyen is dobogóra került.
És ami nekünk még külön öröm: ezzel nemcsak a Czech Mate jutott el Amerikáig, hanem Gomba neve is, mert most már Wisconsinban is tudják, hogy létezik Magyarországon egy ilyen nevű település.
Nekünk mindig is fontos volt, hogy ne csak a Gombai Chili nevét vigyük tovább, hanem magát Gombát is egy kicsit ismertebbé tegyük. Most ez egy amerikai nemzetközi verseny dobogóján is sikerült.
Egy pici gombai chiliültetvényről indultunk, most pedig egy amerikai nemzetközi verseny dobogójáig jutottunk. Köszönjük, hogy velünk vagytok ezen az úton! ❤️

🥈 Czech Mate made it to the international podium! 🌶️🍺
We’re very happy to share some huge news: our Czech Mate, a sweet chili sauce made with Czech dark beer, won **2nd place** at the **2026 Artisan International Flavor Awards** in Wisconsin, USA, in the **Sauces Unique** category!
This is the first time one of our sauces has reached the podium at an international competition, so we’re really excited. 😄
Czech Mate is made with three types of imported Czech dark and semi-dark beer, plus yellow habanero chili. That’s what gives it its sweet, malty and characterful flavor. And now we can officially call it a three-time award-winning sauce: after the Magyar Ízek Versenye and Bánya BBQ & Blues competitions, it has now also reached the podium in the United States at the 2026 Artisan International Flavor Awards.
And what makes us even happier: this didn’t just bring Czech Mate all the way to America, it also brought the name of Gomba with it, because now people in Wisconsin know there is a village in Hungary with that name.
It has always been important to us to carry not only the name of Gombai Chili further, but also to make Gomba itself a little better known. Now that happened on the podium of an international competition in the US.
We started from a tiny chili field in Gomba, and now one of our sauces has made it to the podium of an international competition in America.
