Plastic Free Pemuteran ( .official ) is a community-driven initiative that employs the local fishing village to clean the beaches twice daily. All collected waste is sorted, recorded, and transparently tracked at the TPST waste facility, ensuring a cleaner coastline and a healthier ocean. Thanks to these efforts, even dugongs, whale sharks, and turtles have been spotted returning to the area!

Beaches Brewing Co. proudly supports this project, with 100% of all Beaches beer sales go directly to the cleanup efforts.

We spent the day at surrounded by colors, sketches, and good company, watching drawings come to life, one stroke at a time.

Beaches beer was there too. Poured between conversations, a quiet companion to art, and everything that feels like home.

Dr. Debryna Dewi Lumanauw is a medical doctor actively involved in emergency and disaster relief, an advisor to one of Indonesia’s largest hospital groups, and an MSc candidate at Harvard Medical School. Beyond her medical career, she’s the creative force behind dr. deb bakes, where sourdough meets Nusantara flavors. Through her unique approach that blends science, fermentation, and heritage, Debryna crafts wholesome breads inspired by Indonesian grains, spices, and stories—from Tinutuan sourdough to gingertorch canelé—celebrating local flavor through slow, mindful baking.
